Chapter 15 - Rumours

Monday - David's POV

For the first time in a very long while, David woke up without feeling a hint of tiredness. Instead, he felt at ease, peaceful. He knew exactly what the reason for this was too. The feeling of a warm body resting against you while you cuddled them just felt right. David always felt relaxed spooning a pillow when he went to bed, but he never expected how good it would feel to spoon a real person. He was 100% certain that he would be the big spoon in this relationship, but with how good it felt to spoon someome, he couldn't help but wonder what it would feel like to be spooned.

Chris turned in David's arms to face his lover as he shimmied closer to rest his face against his chest. This act earned Chris a grunt of approval from David as his hold on the boy tightened and he pulled him closer while entangling their legs. Just as they started to get comfortable and attempted to fall back into their slumber, Destiny's Child started blaring from Chris' phone as his alarm sounded.

"Mnh... what time is it?" David buried his face into Chris' neck and gently nuzzled into the boy while plastering kisses all over him. Chris turned in his grasp to reach his phone to stop the music and check the time.

"7:30, we should get up."

David groaned but complied with his lover as the boys got out of bed. Once he was up, David immediately longed for his boyfriends touch as the warmness of his body faded from his own. This new feeling was something David knew he was growing addicted to as Chris hugged him from behind to feel his body heat again.

"Hey, come on. We're going to lose time if we stay here cuddling. You go have the first shower, I'll get our clothes prepared."

"Why don't we just shower together? It'll save a lot of time." A grin slowly formed on David's face at his boyfriends proposal. Of course, why didn't they share a shower? This was solely to save time, not for another reason. Not at all.

"Shit, babe. Lead the way then." Chris took David by the hand and led him through the doorway to the bathroom. The boys teased each other as they stripped out of their underwear and stepped into the shower together.

Maybe it was a psychological thing, but there was something about cuddling someone while having hot water raining down over you both. It was therapeutic in a way. As erotic as the moment could be, with two naked men caressing eachother in an empty house where they could be as loud and reckless as they wanted, they instead decided to just keep hugging eachother. And who could blame them? It was early in the morning and they had an hour until school started. Oh well, maybe they could fool around later. For now, the boys helped wash each other while David snuck in the occasional grope but the shower wasn't as eventful as some had hoped. Once the shower was over and the boys were squeaky clean, they took turns drying the water off of each other before they brushed their teeth and finished the hygiene portion of the day.

It didn't take long for Chris to get dressed in his school uniform as he noticed his lover resting on the bed, still in the buff. Chris tossed some underwear at David along with the clothes he borrowed yesterday.

"What's this?"

"Clothes. Quickly get dressed so we can drive to your house to get your school clothes."

"Can't I just borrow yours?"

"You can try but they won't fit. Now hurry up, it's almost eight."

David thought about his choices before pulling on the clothes he borrowed from Chris. David was far too big for Chris' clothes and Chris was far too lanky for David's clothes. With both boys now fully dressed, they went downstairs and had a quick breakfast so they would have enough time to drive to David's house and make it to school on time.
