Chapter 11

"The emperor has been captured!" one of the knight majors shouted as he took a glance at their kneeling emperor. He was about to run to save his imperial majesty, but a blade hit his heart directly.

Adeodatus spit and cussed as he saw a trace of blood mix on his saliva. Both of his hands are tied tightly, his ironed uniform is now crumpled and dirty, there are visible cuts too. Some part of his porcelain skin has some cuts and bruises.

He clenched his jaw as he stayed his eyes on the wooden floor of the ship where he is currently kneeling, rage filled his eyes and started to ask himself, where did it go wrong!?

He arrogantly lifted his chin as if the enemy didn't capture him, he stared at the girl who's wearing revealing cloth, the girl's brunette hair moved as the wind struck it strongly. She tightly gripped the handle of her sword as she stared at the good looking but ruthless emperor whom they captured.

He scoffed when two of the crews dropped him on the deck of the main ship, he looked up and smirked when he read the ship's name, "How ironic to name a man-o'-war ship Amity, when it's literally the opposite huh?" he stated, and every crew member who heard it stepped forward, ready to attack the foul-mouthed royalty.

But all of them stopped when they heard the familiar heavy footsteps of a person, Ade raised his brow as he stared at the fully clothed man who has a dark mask on his face, failing to see the man's appearance, "I believe you are the captain of this cheapskate ship." he stated after he saw how the crew member acted around him.

"I thought captains must wear an eyepatch but why are you wearing a half mask?" he continued to blabber as he stared at the man's strong jaw and lips. But he stopped running his mouth when the girl forcefully slapped him on the cheek using the back of her back, "Fuck! This stupid bitch!" he ranted as soon as he felt the burning feeling on his cheek.

"Stop."

He froze for a second after hearing the familiar but chilling voice of the man in front of him. But he shrugged off those feelings and reminded himself that now's not the time to feel... whatever that couldn't help his situation.

He looked up to the man once again and stared at the man's eyes, he twitched when he saw the familiar shade of gray eyes, not the same, his is... darker.

"All of you go back to the ground deck and do your job, leave us be." the man announced using his chilling and authoritative voice, the crew members walked away and went to their own posts.

The man walked and stopped when inches away from him, he bent down on his knees and stared at the emperor's face. The arrogant imperial majesty got pissed when the man didn't say something and continued to look down on him, "What will you do now, your imperial majesty?" the man asked in a soft but low voice.

Ade raised his brow, "So, you people outside do know how to use honorifics? Thought all of you were stupid bunch of thieves that sails." he spouted, but the man stayed silent, so he continues to run his mouth, "What do you want exchange of my freedom them? Don't waste my time, in fact I can spare you and your group from my rage if we finish negotiating instantly."

"I don't need any of your treasure." the man answered.

"What is it then?" Ade asked in a bored manner then smirked, "You can have my body for once, you know... if you swing that way." he whispered and looked down on the man's thigh, if his hands weren't tied, he could've grabbed the man's clothed skin by now.

"Sure, I won't decline your offer, but you'll be a captive here until I grow tired of your body and when I get to decide what to do with you." the man stated.

Ade looked at the masked man, dumbfounded.

He was caught off guard! Yes, he was the first to offer but he didn't expect that the man would accept it. He was waiting for the man to beat the shit out of him or to hear insults but no, he received an approving answer.

His first plan was to piss the captain off so the man will ask someone to throw him out of the ship, he can swim, tag at the ship's rudder, climb to the ship at night and kill everyone. As far as he remembers most pirates are after girls, they're thirsty for women since lady pirates aren't that common.

He blinked and quickly revised his plan in his head, he'll just kill the man before or after doing the deed with him, steal his ship, sail back to the empire, and capture the remaining crew members. Right, that's it.
