After some realization, Ade decided to be kind to the kid even though it was so uncomfortable for him to be with one. He is starting to feel empathy towards the others which he finds very unusual.
They share the same experiences in life, having no parents at such a young age, he just hopes that the boy won't encounter something dangerous that can harm him. Well, that is a bit impossible, since he is sailing together with pirates, the sea bandits. Now, he wonders if the kid was traumatized after all those fights and happenings. What was the kid doing after hearing the noise of the guns and cannons? The sound of the sword blades' going in contact with one another. After seeing so much blood and flesh of the others?
He held the kid's hand, a little tight now, and went down from the quarter's deck, ignoring Horatius who had just been observing the two since earlier.
"Now, where should we go?" he asked after descending the quarter's deck.
"Horace ordered me to give these to you." a familiar girl approached them, the girl looked at his injured knee and shackles, "I wonder what our captain saw in you, aside from you're a really big fish because you're an emperor. But don't forget that you're a captive here, freely roaming around like the Amity is yours? Look at those shackles again, those serve as a reminder."
He raised his eyebrow, "I'll never forget about that, why are you so bitter with my presence anyway? Do you feel jealous because your captain favored me?" he smirked. He doesn't know but he really wants to crush the girl's pride and confidence, "Ah, maybe because your captain doesn't see you attractive? Guess, that's why he chose to swim in my ass last night, right?"
Sayyida glared at him. Ade glanced at the boy beside who was still clueless with the approaching fight between him and the lady. He just hopes that the kid won't understand him, he completely forgot about the boy's presence.
"Think twice before you pull that dagger of yours, Horace will surely see a bruise on me if you'll continue what's in your mind right now." he warned, and if ever they'll fight, he won't fight back more like- will, but not much to have some bruise that can he use.
The lady scoffed before marching away, Ade smirked before looking at the nervous guy beside them who was trembling while holding the tray of foods, "Hey you, follow me in the captain's deck. We'll be eating there."
The guy looks more troubled than earlier, "But... we're not allowed to go in there with his permission."
"Just follow me, I'll handle your captain myself." he said with authority.
"Who's that woman anyway? Horace and she seem so close?" he asked, while walking ahead of the guy, trying to fish out some information, for him to know who to kill first. He wants to know the high-ranking crews, how strong they are, they're background, specialties and more. Just anything that could be a big help for his mission to escape and retrieve his men who've been captured.
"S-sayyida... our quartermaster." the guys answered after looking away at the emperor's exposed back.
A quartermaster, a second in command then? She is strong, then?
He assumed since they won't appoint someone with such a high position just because of their good looks, she must be skilled then.
