Ade grimaced after he felt the pain as he squirmed a little in the tent, right he was done by the twin last night. He even passed out, he couldn't open his eyes last night after his release, but he can feel the twins' movements, they cleaned him up, which is good.

He stared at the tent- made up tent, the two built it last night, made up of extra sailcloth and some cloth Horace found in the chests. He wants to sleep beside Finn, but he couldn't move, plus the two wouldn't place him there for sure.

He stirred on the mattress and turned on the other side and there he found a cute boy with messy hair staring at him while silently sitting on the mattress near his head, "Why- why don't you go out and eat instead of staring there dumbly." he mumbled.

The kid blinked his eyes and didn't say anything, Ade rolled his eyes and pushed his weight to sit on the mattress, he grimaced when he felt the familiar pain on his back, he held Finn's hand before pulling his gently to sit beside him, he brushed the kid's messy hair using his right hand.

His hand froze in the middle of brushing the kid's hair, he faked a cough and made the kid stand, "Go out, I'll follow you." he commanded. The kid obliged silently, he sighed first and brushed his face aggressively singing his palms before getting up.

"Your imperial majesty!" Tarian greeted surprisingly when he went out of the tent, "You should have called me so I could assist or carry."

"If you bastards didn't do me good last night, I could help myself." he said in a sarcastic tone.

"Are you hungry?" Horace asked from behind and then caressed his back.

Ade looked away, their hands at it again, "Not really, but this kid surely is."

He pointed his index finger on Finn before his eyebrows met, "Why is he so silent anyway? Always has that creepy stare." he asked, still not used to the boy's silent treatment, not that he was talkative when I first met him

Horace sighed before dropping his gaze on the boy, "His parents were killed in front of him when he was two, he witnessed too much brutality at a young age, so staring intently is completely normal to him. He did that also when he saw how the blood came out from his parents' bodies."

Ade raised his brow slowly, what a pity.

"...I see." are the only words that came out from his mouth, he doesn't know what to say exactly, the boy isn't crying so comforting would be useless, he guesses.

He held Finn's hands before pulling him gently, "Serve us, you mutts. You guys are lucky this kid is here, you won't get killed by me." he threatened. The twins exchange a glance at each other before shrugging, completely ignoring the imperial majesty's empty threat.

While preparing, Ade watched the two and his eyes squinted when he saw some cuts and bruises on the twins' arms.

"Where did you get those?" he asked.

"We got them from hunting some animals."

"Liar. Where did you get those?" he asked again.

Horace sighed before answering, "While hunting we encountered some bandits... we killed them already so, no worries."

"Bandits?" he confirmed, "You mean, pirates? The war isn't done, I assume?"

"...Yes."

Ade's eyelids thinned. Thinking of a plan while waiting for the food to be served.
