Tarian gripped him on the arm tightly causing him to wince in pain, "Let him go, Horatius. Don't use him in your plans." Tarian suddenly mumbled.

"I am not using him." the other man defended.

Tarian was not convinced so pulled Ade's arm a little, "Don't lie, let him go, so we can go back to the empire."

"He's not leaving here." Horace said strictly.

Ade, who was torn between the two's grip was confused as hell and so he butted in, "Dammit, you two! Stop fighting for now, you guys will get us killed!" he brushed off the hands on his body and glared at the two.

The three went back to their senses when they heard consecutive sounds of cannons, they turned their heads and saw the naval ship of the emperor's being targeted by the newcomers.

The knight commander released some cuss after witnessing how the newly arrived enemies made some holes on the ship's body, Horace ran towards the quarter deck and maneuvered the ship, getting away from the brawl, especially now that his subunits weren't there to guide them. A fight will be easy for them; they'll have a hard time if their ship is wrecked. There's a big possibility of getting hit by cannons too.

Heading on their way back they saw the Royal Bait of Silvera Snake Eyes and the brigantine of Rusty Seadog, the Raging Sea.

Horace nodded, giving them a signal before maneuvering the ship back to the Ahjasire Mountains. He guided the emperor to get down on the ship and headed towards the hidden cave he knew. The others went on with their duties while the three of them went into the hidden cave.

"Where are we?" Ade asked after sitting on a big rock, still holding his bleeding skin.

"Still at the Ahjasire Mountains." Horace answered.

"Then the enemies-"

"My first mates and I are the only ones who know about this place." the captain cut off.

Adeodatus' brows met, "And what if they send those pirates here, you know how they loathe me."

"My comrades... they're not going to betray me, your imperial majesty."

"How could you even say-''

Of course, Ade started to doubt, four years ago one of his trusted men, King Balder Eurman betrayed him, that man worked for him and his father for decades and yet he and his underlings nearly committed treason. What more about Horace's comrades, who for sure, wants his head detached from his neck.

"I can assure you that his men won't betray us, your imperial majesty." Tarian butted in when he saw the uneasiness in the emperor's eyes.

Ade turned his head towards his knight commander, "Now... tell me what the fuck is going on and why you two share the same face? Are you gonna deceive me and kill me after?" he asked- more like an accused.

"No." the two answered in unison.

"Then, what? Wait- you two didn't take turns and fucked me before in my palace, right?" he asked in a worried tone, now that he thought about it, it was always dark when he did the deed most of the time.

Tarian made a face, he doesn't know if he'll be annoyed or amused by his imperial majesty's extreme imaginations, "No, why will I even do that. But-"

"Don't confront me now, Thelonius. I am so confused and pissed so don't even start with me. Answer my question now."

The right-hand man fell silent for a couple of seconds, "...We are brothers... twins to be exact."

"Huh? How is that even possible? Okay, given that you share the same face but, he is a pirate, a criminal at that, and you... you hold the highest position of knights in the whole empire."

"We didn't grow up together." Horatius answered.

"Of course! If you did, I would know your existence!"

Tarian sighed before walking near him, "Please don't be too mad, I grew up with my father, and him with our mother separately."

"How?"

"Our mother took Horatius away when we were young."

"That's because your good father planned to kill my mother, so we ran away." Horace said sarcastically.

"That's not true!" Tarian's voice beamed and echoed in the cave.

Now the two share the same level of rage, which Adeodatus found amusing.

"I see... after all these years you still chose to believe the lies that have been fed to you."

"Those are not lies! And you are still so stubborn after all these years!" Tarian shouted.

Ade was amused but his head is aching already by their loud arguments and loud voices.

"What the fuck are you guys arguing about? Who wants to kill who?"

Tarian looked at him and froze, Ade was able to read Tarian's face and that annoyed him, he knew something and yet he didn't even inform me about it. So, he stood despite his bleeding flesh, held his sword and pointed the blade at Thelonius' neck, "Spill it now, or I will kill you." he threatened but the man didn't budge, so, he pointed the sword at Horace instead, "Start speaking or I'll kill your twin in front of you." but the two stayed silent. Ade closed his eyes to gather himself, they sure are stubborn.

He laughed in a low tone, "Fuck! You two are both loyal dogs. Then... stay silent and I will end my life, how about that?" he offered after placing the blade on the skin of his neck.

And as he assumed the two reacted, "Your imperial majesty!" Traian shouted.

The twins tried their luck and took a step towards Ade to stop the emperor from his reckless move, but they saw that the man pressed the sharp blade even more, so they stopped.

"Cut it out, this isn't even funny." Horace said when he saw a drop of blood drawing from the man's neck.

"Speak then," he commanded.

"Fine, but only if you throw that away." Tarian answered in a defeated tone.

Ade's eyes moved, "Only if you started to speak." he added, afraid to be fooled by two.

"Fine."

The cunning imperial majesty smirked, "Very well."
