At the end of the day Ade has no choice but to stay in the cave for the meantime. About the cave's security, it is indeed hidden, covered and surrounded by the mountain's base of the Afjasire and the inner space of the cave is quite big and clean...

There are numerous chest boxes too, and some necessary things for living.

After Horace mended his cuts the two went out and he doesn't know where, but they said that they will get some food. Out of boredom for being left alone for about half an hour, Ade stood and supported his weight by holding on the stone formation beside the walls of the cave and went out and there he saw a tent beside the cave's entrance.

But he didn't go out, he just stayed near the entrance and held his sword. He can't risk his life now; he can fight but to the extent because of the cuts he has.

He sat to hide himself when he heard the bushes move, his eyes squinted when he saw a shadow and was ready to hit the person using his sword, he strengthened his knee and stood but stopped midways when he saw the familiar little boy standing near the bushes.

"It's just you..." he whispered plainly, seconds after staring at the clueless boy his eyebrows met, "Why are you even here anyway?" he asked the dropped the sword beside him, he held Finn's hand and pulled it gently before attempting to lift the kid.

Ade closed his eyes after his successfully carried the kid on his second attempt, his bruises are aching, they turned their head when they heard the bushes again, and there he saw Horatius while carrying a dead pig on his shoulder, "Sayyida brought him on the border so she could fight freely without minding if Finn is safe or not." the captain explained.

Ade nodded before walking carefully towards the cave again.

A minute later, Tarian went inside while bringing a pile of wood, the man turned his head to look at him and even dropped some of the wood out of shock.

Ade raised his brow, "What?"

"I thought, you never like kids, your imperial majesty?"

"Yes, and?"

"What's with the kid now?" Tarian asked, pointing at the kid.

Ade scoffed, "I still don't like them, this kid isn't an exemption. I am just... just.. Being nice- why do I need to explain to you anyway?"

"Well, I was just surprised, your imperial majesty." Tarian answered after picking up the woods he dropped, he turned to his imperial majesty once again and gave out a smile, Ade being Ade rolled his eyes at the man.

"Let's not mind these bastards, let's go outside," he spoke.

"It's not right to use inappropriate words in front of a child." Horace reminded.

"He won't understand them anyway,"

"They will, your imperial majesty."

Ade inhales and ignores their statement, "Where can I wash my body, anyway? Is there even water here?"

"If you enter the cave a bit more, you'll see a small body of water inside it, the water's clean, you can bathe and wash your clothes, there's also a hidden waterfall near here."

Adeodatus nodded, "I see, very well."

Ade's attention dropped on the kid when Finn placed his chin on the man's shoulder, "What's your deal now? Being clingy all of a sudden."

"Bread!" the kid shouted, his voice echoed inside the cave, Ade closed his eyes after the steering pain in his ear.

"Damn. Don't shout, it will trigger the bats!" he warned.

"There are no bats in here." Horatius answered.

Tarian went towards them and handed bread to the kid, "Here kid, here's your bread. How about you, are you hungry, your imperial majesty?"

"I am not." he answered before sitting on a big stone he found, he placed the boy on his lap and watched the kid eat his bread slovenly, "So messy." he whispered before wiping the kids mouth using his palm, removing the crumbs left on the kid's cheek.

Ade watched the kid and started to think, maybe, his 'staycation' won't be boring anymore since the kid is here, he will be entertained... Just a little, he can take care of the kid since he isn't allowed to go outside the cave and he won't do other chores too, bruised or not. Well, does it even suit me?
