Thanks for waiting on me for this new chapter! I was on a two week vacation and then got sick, so I am trying to catch up on writing. Will update chapters more regularly now :)

After what had happened in the Lake that day you had quickly snapped back to reality and had gone back to the your dorm in Hufflepuff. Not only to put on some dry clothes, but to think about what had just happened. If you had been imagining things before, that was no longer. You were now definitely certain that there was something between you and Lucius, and that he felt it too.
Butterflies formed in your belly as you took a warm shower and dried off and went to go lay down. You closed the gold colored canopies of your four poster bed so that you could lay there in your towel, and close your eyes and dream about Lucius. Dream about being pressed up against him in the water, about his arms holding you tightly making sure you were ok, and the way that his strong body had looked underneath that white button up shirt of his as the fabric had become soaked through.

As you drifted off to sleep that night you wondered what Lucius was thinking about. You hoped it would be of you, and what had happened at the Great Lake.

As you woke up the next day you knew you wouldn't see Lucius or Amalie unless they sought you out since you didn't have potions class with them that day. Potions class was always the second day of the week. You felt antsy the entire day as you waited for tomorrow to be there all ready since you wanted to see Lucius...desperately. You were nervous to see him again, part of you not wanting your comfortable friendship to feel awkward or different, but the other part of you wanting so much more. And so again, that evening, you lay in bed dreaming of that platinum head of hair and waited eagerly for the next day.

The next day you woke up with an extra burst of energy, and a few more butterflies. You had Potions with Lucius today. You dressed, of course, in your typical yellow and black Hufflepuff robes, but you added a bit of pretty neutral-pink lip tint to your lips as well as styled your hair to fall in luscious waves down your back and then tied the front pieces of hair back with a lovely black, silk bow. You appraised yourself in the mirror and felt confident, despite the butterflies, and made your way quickly down to the dungeons to class.

As you entered the class you saw Amalie and Lucius at your guys' normal table, they always arrived first as their common room was the closest to Potions class, and you saw them both smile as you walked in.

You smiled sweetly, your cheeks flushing a bit pink at the sight of Lucius, who's grey eyes were piecing into yours intensely, but before you could even sit down between them at your normal spot, Amalie was already talking a mile a minute.

"Little Kitten! I haven't heard from you since the Lake! Are you okay? Are you mad at me? Why haven't you spoken to me? It was a joke I swear. I love you!" She blurted out uncontrollably.

You were vaguely aware of what she was saying. All of it ridiculous of course. Funnily enough, you weren't mad at all. It had been a poor game that she had played on you, but you couldn't be mad about it, as it had ended you up in Lucius' arms. You were barely paying attention to her though, as you and Lucius looked at each other still from across the cauldron; saying many unspoken things between your gazes.

"Little kitten!" Amalie practically yelled into your ear. "You aren't saying anything! You are mad aren't you?"

Your gaze broke from Lucius' as Amalie's voice disrupted your trance. "No...no, of course I'm not mad Ama," you said as you shook your head, as you finally paid a bit of attention to her.

Apparently that one tiny confirmation from you was all she was waiting for. "Oh really?! Thank goodness I could have sworn you were so mad at me!" She said as she threw her arm around you, bringing you in for a side hug.
