It had only been a few months, and although you and Lucius had  reveled in being engaged, you both could sense within each other that  there was an impatient feeling; that there was no point in waiting any  longer and that you both wanted to finally make things official. You and  Lucius had a new-found sense of freedom; a freedom to love each other  without any hurdles or without any nightmare scenarios. It was time to  make it official.

After many nights discussing the details of the  wedding, you both had a thought at the same time. With a smile on both  of your faces, as if you could reach each other's minds, you both agreed  that you wanted to have a small ceremony; so small in fact that it  would just be you and Lucius. And an officiant of course.

The  decision to have no one at the wedding, not even your own family, who  had always been supportive, just felt right for both of you. The journey  you both had in your relationship had always been intense in all ways  possible, and with something as special as this was for both of you, you  mutually decided that you just wanted to "elope" as it were. However,  instead of eloping abroad somewhere, you both knew that you wanted to  have it right at the Malfoy Manor, in the beautiful white rose garden  which was blooming so stunningly now that you and Lucius had made it so.

And  so on the late afternoon of your wedding day in the peak of Spring, you  slipped on your gorgeous gown that you had picked out a few weeks  prior. It was whimsical, just as you were, made from delicate lace that  hugged your body perfectly, and seemed to emulate the plants and roses  that you loved so much; the lace of it looking like rose vines winding  up the sleeves and around the bodice of the dress. You looked like a  beautiful woodland fairy, and you knew Lucius would love it. You could  only imagine how he, himself, looked.

You had been getting ready  in one of the large guest bedrooms of the Manor, but with one last look  in the gilded mirror you knew you were ready. Emily, your beloved cat,  had been watching you get ready, the little creature now used to living  at either the London mansion or the Malfoy Manor. She gave you a mewl of  approval as you scratched her sweetly under the chin one last time  before grabbing your bouquet of magical white roses and making your way  downstairs so you could head out to the rose garden where Lucius said he  would be waiting for you.

Your skin tingled with excitement,  passion and a bit of nerves as you made your way through the maze of  gardens until you finally reached the entrance of the rose garden where  you knew Lucius was just on the other side. Turning the corner into the  garden, your heart beat fast at the sight of your Slytherin King, your  Lucius. He was elegant as ever, a suit of the finest black velvet fitted  to his body perfectly. Over his shoulders was an elegant, rich black  cloak of the finest fabric, with a trim all around it in a stunning deep  green thread. His hair was tied back at the nape of his neck with a  satin ribbon, and you simply adored when he wore his hair tied back like  that. In his hand he held a cane which he had attached the silver head  snake you had gotten him all those years ago; a symbol of the early days  of your love. You touched the snake necklace that you had put on; the  very one he had also gotten you that Christmas all of those years ago  when you were younger.
