You and Lucius had slept deeply, despite the way the night before had ended. You had cried yourself to sleep in Lucius' arms as he held you and whispered in your ear that he would never let you go and that nothing would ever separate you both. You loved his reassurance, but somewhere deep in your heart there was now a permanent mark of despair. You loved this boy with all of your soul, and yet you had a dark feeling that something bad would happen. Your mind raced as you thought about how his final year of Hogwarts was over half-way done, and what would happen once he left you after graduation.

As you stirred awake in the morning, Lucius felt you and kissed the top of your head as he whispered, "Merry Christmas my love."

You cuddled up into his chest and whispered, "Merry Christmas," as you held him tightly.

After just holding each other for a bit, you remembered you still had one more gift you had brought for Lucius, however you were a bit anxious to leave, as you couldn't face his parents anymore, not after what you had heard last night.

"Lucius, I have one more gift for you...but...perhaps I should leave..." you said as you sat up a bit in bed.

"No kitten, please don't leave yet," he said, his grey eyes looking sad. "It's still a bit early, my parents most likely won't be up and about yet."

You hesitated but knew with this last gift you would need to go outside anyways, so at least you could avoid his parents even more. "Ok...it requires us to go outside to the gardens anyways."

"Ok," Lucius smiled, glad you weren't leaving quite yet.

As you got out of bed, you put your dress on from the night before, since you hadn't brought a spare change of clothes. Looking out the window you realized a light dusting of snow had fallen in the night, and instinctually wrapped your arms around yourself, knowing it'd be a bit chilly outside.

"Here," you heard Lucius' sexy voice behind you, as you felt a warm cloak being draped over you. It was a pair of Lucius' winter Slytherin robes, and the material and weight of it felt so good on your body, as you cuddled happily into the fabric of it as you wrapped yourself in it; plus it smelled deliciously of him.

"Thanks," you smiled happily up at him.

Lucius smiled back and took your hand and led you both quietly out of the Manor, after you grabbed your bag which had your gift in it. Lucius had been correct in his assumption that the Manor this early would be quiet, his parents not up yet, which you were very grateful for.

As you both stepped outside, you breathed in the crisp air and delighted at the picturesque view of the light coating of snow that covered the expansive Malfoy gardens.

"Take me back to the rose garden?" You asked him as he looked at you expectantly.

He smiled sweetly and led you both into the maze that was the gardens and soon enough you came upon the beautiful rose garden you had loved so much from last time.
