About another week had gone by. You and Lucius were growing close as ever, and you were actually looking forward to heading to the Malfoy Manor over the weekend.
Before his party last week, Lucius had asked you to join him to go back to his ancestral home. His mother had told him she would be staying in France with her family indefinitely, and so with her gone from the Manor, Lucius wanted to go back to finally be able to enjoy it; without pain, without his parents' pressure, and without Voldemort most importantly. He wanted to go back to his first home to revisit the good memories; of course many of them involving you. You were excited to revisit those good memories as well.
And so as the weekend approached, you took the mile long walk to Lucius' mansion in London to meet him there so you could both use his main fireplace to Floo to Malfoy Manor.
Fall was quickly approaching, and the weather was more chilly and crisp than usual so you had paired a cute pair of black jeans and boots with a cream colored sweater on top. You would also surprise Lucius by wearing the necklace he had gifted you for Christmas all those years ago; the silver snake with the bright green emerald eye. You had never gotten rid of the beautiful piece of jewelry and it had been stowed away in your old Hogwarts trunk for years and years in its original velvet case. You had never had the heart to get rid of it...or open it back up...but when you had reopened its case all those years later, the necklace was as beautiful and shining as you had remembered it, and you now proudly wore it around your delicate neck.
You finally arrived at Lucius' London mansion, a place that had become quickly like your second home. Lucius had told you not to even knock anymore, and the door would always open at a slight tap of your wand on the doorknob.
Stepping inside, Lucius had been walking gracefully down the main stairs when he saw you arrive and the smile he gave you when he greeted you was dazzling. Soon he was right in front of you and he brought you into his arms for a warm amorous hug and an even warmer delicious kiss.
"Mmm my Kitten. You look divine as always," he said as he caressed your cheek with his warm fingers.
"As do you," you replied with a flushed smile. He truly did. He looked gorgeous in his matte black robes and equally as rich black sweater and trousers. His hair was pulled back with a black silk ribbon, and the silver of his eyes shone brightly at you.
His beautiful eyes then looked down to your neck and seemed to shine even more as he realized what was around your neck.
"It's...," he began to say, seeming too choked up for words to get it all out. His right hand came out to gently hold the snake charm in his hands as his thumb rubbed over the smooth silver of it.
"Yes," you said as you smiled up at him, loving how he immediately noticed it.
"You never got rid of it?" He asked quietly.
"No, I couldn't" you admitted. "It's been in my Hogwarts trunk for seven years now. I wanted to wear it today, back to the Manor where you first gave it to me that Christmas," you smiled.
Lucius smiled, his silver eyes shining so brightly as he leaned in once more to kiss you, his hands running through your hair, gripping at it gently, as he pressed you in closer to him to kiss you deeper.
"You make me the happiest I've ever been," he said as he then took your hand in his and lead you upstairs into his study which had a nice sized fireplace in it.
He reached up on the mantle to grab a handful of Floo Powder from a shining black vase and turned to you. "Are you ready?"
"Yes," you said with excitement, excited to see the grand Manor you had remembered.
