The Hufflepuff and the Slytherin

Chapter 10-Christmas Eve

Ever since the best night of your life with Lucius in the Room of Requirement, you two became even more inseparable than usual. It seemed almost nightly you both would sneak off in the middle of the night to meet in your special room together so that you could make love again and again, for hours at a time. Being the young adults that you were, with the endless stamina and hormones raging throughout your bodies, it felt as if you could never get enough of one another when your bodies combined as one.

Your friends, including Amalie, and even a few of your professors had commented on how your mind seemed to be in the clouds as of late during classes. Amalie especially noticed your lack of energy during the day and always teased you about it. If only she knew the lack of sleep in your life was completely worth it for the nightly pleasure you would receive; and Lucius was only too happy to provide you that pleasure over and over again in various ways.

The Christmas holidays were fast approaching and you had been afraid of being apart from Lucius for those few weeks. Luckily one night, after another session of love making, you and Lucius were laying naked in the bed together cuddling and breathing heavy from the exertions you both had just put forth into loving one another, when Lucius asked you if you wanted to come back to the Manor over the break.

"Would you like to come to the Manor for Christmas Eve my love?" He asked you sweetly as he stroked your bare shoulder as he held you in his arms.

"Really?" You asked, a smile lighting up your face at his request.

"Yes of course. Nothing would make me happier than having you at the Manor for Christmas. You will love it. There's decorations everywhere, Mother has the elves prepare a delicious feast, and we exchange a few gifts Christmas Eve too."

"Oh Lucius that sounds all so lovely...but...isn't that your family time? I wouldn't want to intrude."

"Well..." Lucius began to say as if trying to find the right words. "I consider you my family now kitten...you are my everything...and I was thinking..."

"Yes?" You said, your stomach filling with butterflies.

"Well...I think I want to tell my parents about us..." he said with finality.

"You do? Oh Lucius, won't your father be upset? I'm not exactly the girl he had in mind for you I think..." you said sadly, despite looking up at Lucius with so much love in your eyes.

His jaw clenched at your words, angry, and yet knowing they were true. "I don't care," he said defiantly. "He doesn't get to control who I love. And you are who I love."

"I love you so much Lucius," you said immediately back, meaning it with ever fiber of your soul.

Lucius smiled softly, as he continued stroking you. "Then you'll come for Christmas Eve? You'll allow me to tell my parents about us?"

"Yes," you said with a bit of nervousness. "I would love to be with you on Christmas Eve. My parents won't mind, as we usually have our big family dinner on Christmas Day. So it works out perfectly."

"Brilliant," he said, his smile growing even wider now, as he was feeling perfectly happy.

You both lay in silence then for an age; taking in how big of a step that would mean for the both of you and your relationship. No one had known about you two yet, and telling Lucius' parents was perhaps the most intimidating, when you thought about who you would tell about your relationship. But with Lucius' confidence and support in it, you too felt safe as long as he was there with you.

The Christmas break was finally upon the students and staff of Hogwarts, and mostly everyone was back at their homes for the holidays. You had left to go back home to your parents a few days before. It was nice to see them, and they doted on you and loved you as they always did whenever you came home. However, although it had only been a few days, you desperately missed Lucius' touch. Your body felt cold and empty without him by your side...and inside you...and you felt as if you were one of your delicate roses, wilting without the nurturing water and sun that was Lucius.
