Nasa pavilion ng mga Nazareno sina Elora, Marga, at Mayari. Kakatapos lang nila magpaclearance para wala na silang iintindihin ngayong nagumpisa na ang bakasyon ng mga lower year ng kanilang unibersidad.

Nagitla sina Marga at Mayari ng may ibinagsak na hardbound book si Elora sa table.

"Elora!" Marga scolded Elora as she took a seat.

"What's that?" tanong ni Mayari kay Elora at lumapit silang dalawa ni Marga sa dalaga.

"Bakit meron ka ng kopya ng family history ng mga Salvatori?" tanong ni Mayari kay Elora.

"Lahat ng old families dito, may mga kopya ng history ng mga kapwa old family" Elora answered Mayari.

"Oh. Let's read it together!" Mayari answered giddily at the two.

Binuksan ni Elora ang libro at nagumpisang magbasa ng malakas para sa dalawa.

"Rosa Damas, more known as Rose Ladies, are the wives of the Salvatori men. Unlike the most men in the past, the Salvatori men made a reputation of having a wife who has the same qualities and beliefs as them as a preference. The wives were known for being as cunning, ambitious, and intelligent as their husbands. The earlier (early 1600s to 1690s) wives were untutored in academics, soft-spoken, demure, and submissive daughters when presented to the Salvatori family for arrange marriages (and to humiliate the family for having a submissive wife). It was still unknown to the imbeciles how these soft-spoken ladies they presented became cunning, ambitious, confident, well-versed, and sharp-tongued wives the Salvatori men wanted. They even resulted in accusing the wives of witchcraft when in reality their husbands and in-laws patiently educate their wives to get them in such honorable state" hindi makapaniwala si Mayari sa huling bahagi na binasa ni Elora.

"Who in the right mind not educate their children? That is such an oafish thing to do!" Mayari is completely scandalized at the vile things these families do to their daughters just to humiliate the Salvatori family.

"Well, that's the old times for you, Mayari. And don't worry this is way back. Hindi na yan magyayari ngayon" Elora calmed Mayari down.

"And I'm not surprised they have been throwing shade to these power hungry dimwits by educating their wives. I mean, these men knew that the maidens the imbeciles were presenting was uneducated, which they are not fond of, yet they accept the marriage and instead of being ashamed, they taught everything to their wives. Arts, etiquette, law, politics, science, economics, everything they knew they patiently teach it to their wives. They do this, not because they were humiliated. They do this because they believe that women must also be educated not only in being a housewife but also the right hand and honest advisor of her husband" Marga concluded.

"Well, maybe these submissive maidens let their husbands to educate them at first because that's what they were taught to do, submit to men. A thing the Salvatori family despise. They hate it when a woman was taught to be only pretty and not these educational and survival skills that every person must have knowledge of. But, as the time goes by, these submissive maidens became the equals of the Salvatori men. They were enlightened that their husbands married them because they want them to be their equal, not to be their breeders and trophies" sabi ni Elora sa kanyang mga kaibigan.

"Tama din naman si Elora. Hindi naman natin masisisi yung mga inaarrange marriage sa mga Salvatori dati. Wala na silang pake kung hindi magaling or whatsoever, wala naman kasing edad na pinipili ang education" sabi naman ni Mayari sa dalawa.
