HI guys! Hit a hundred followers yesterday and came up with this as my pastime. Totally is an Angst, but has a cute and happy ending. Make sure you look at the TW's btw, their very important. Also, it's not exactly a Mavid oneshot, but does have a Mario and David dynamic where they put aside there differences and learn to respect each other. You'll see.

Also, this is unedited and I wrote this sort of lazily, but WHATEVER MEH WHO CARESSSSS. Anyways, Hope you enjoy!

TW's - Referenced Past Suicide, Mentioned Attempted Suicide, Assuming Somebody Committed Suicide???, Slight Blood, Vomiting (Not on Purpose), Sad Boi Mario, Yeah.

"Hurry up, Lucas!" David yelled, walking down the street briskly. Lucas sighed, jogging to catch up to his friend as the two fell into step beside each other.

"Why are we even doing this, again?" Lucas asked as the two made their way down one of the long paths of Divinus Magia.

"Because, Lucas!" David said, rolling his eyes in feigned annoyance, "This is my only chance to get my Slingshot back!"

Lucas rolled his eyes. David had told him the story of the inanimate object named Linda far too many times. Apparently, before Lucas had joined the guild, David had found a slingshot that he named Linda, just a few weeks after Mario joined. So, David had started chucking things at the dragon slayer across the guild hall. Apparently, it's one of the reasons the two boys seemingly never ending conflict had started in the first place, but Lucas wouldn't know. He wasn't there.

David had absolutely adored that slingshot. Lucas could tell that just from the way that he talked about it. He couldn't quite blame Mario for taking it, though. David was in fact being an asshole. Lucas could only imagine.

Anyways, David would throw whatever he found at the dragon slayer, from wads of paper to pebbles to small pieces of ice. So, Mario stole the slingshot from him, which neither of the two guild leaders reprimanded because David had been annoying them too. So, now, about two months after Lucas had joined, David had convinced his new friend to help him look for it again. Because nobody had seen Mario for around for two days, they all assumed that he had gone on a quest with one of his friends from the protectors. So now, David only had one goal in mind. Get back his precious Linda just so he could annoy the guild mate that stole it from him to infinity.

"Yeah yeah, right. I get it," Lucas muttered. "You know you owe me big time after this."

"Sure, Raindrop!" David said with a lopsided grin as the two reached the Dragon Slayer's house.

Lucas sighed as he grabbed a paper clip from his coat pocket, unraveling it and sticking it in the key hole. He fiddled with it for a second before the door clicked open, and David grinned, a large smile of his face as he basically jumped in excitement.

The two stepped inside, sneaking into the Dragon Slayer's room easily. Once they had entered the area, they started to poke around lightly into his stuff, looking on top of desks and stuffed underneath tables. When neither of them found anything, David indiscreetly started snooping into their resident Dragon Slayer's drawers. Lucas raised an eyes brow at the actions, starting to doubt what they were doing. David had promised they wouldn't look into anything that could be personal.

"David," Lucas said with a warning tone. The Devil slayer looked up, his face sour.

"What?" David answered with annoyance clear in his tone. Lucas's eyebrows furrowed.

"You said that we wouldn't look into anything that could be personal," Lucas hissed, eyes narrowing as he looked over at David.

David rolled his eyes, holding up his hands into the air as he sighed. "Fine, Fine!" David said in an exasperated tone. "Whatever! At least check that open drawer over there, yeah?"
