So funny thing, I didn't actually write majority of this. My friend, who you guys already kinda know, Jam, wrote this as a Dream SMP story, posted it, and said I could adapt it if I want. (Adapt as in replace the names and replace or add things as needed). Jam is my favorite shy genderfluid baby bean boi and asked me not to link the account, so I will respect what he asked, but OH MY GOD, JAM, HOW ARE YOU SO GOOD AT WRITING???

Other shout out is to somebody I mention a lot, FuntimeGalx (Who if you don't know is to me by now I would be very surprised) who drew this AMAZING picture of Lucas which OH MY DAYS, IS SO GOOD!!! Give them credit, please guys. They are both amazing.

Anyways, hope you guys like enjoy.

David actually liked the beach at night.

Unlike the day, when the beach was crowded with tourists and locals alike battling for a spot on the hot sand, at night it was much more peaceful. No one came to the beach at night, and the only company around was the crashing of the waves against the pebbly shore and the seaweed that drifted in the churning waters.

It was a nice place for David to come untangle all the thoughts in his head when things got to be just a little bit too much. He could just chill out, look at the twinkling stars above, and think of all the different ways he could try and convince Mario to go on a date with him. Sure, his luck had been pretty bad so far with asking him out, but he just needed to find the right way to impress him. Once that happened, the pretty, dark haired boy would definitely realize how cool and amazing he was and he'd fall head over heels for him. Perfect plan.

So... yeah. The beach. A good place for the ice skater to be alone and think. Except when random creeps decided to watch him.

From where David was sitting on the shore, he could just barely make out a figure in the water. Their head and shoulders sat above the rippling surface, and they didn't seem to have any trouble with the constant barrage of waves hitting their back. David wondered how the person wasn't freezing their ass off considering how cold the water from the ocean got at night. Not like David ever got cold. He was born cold blooded, as his mother used to say. That's why he skated, after all.

Why would anyone be swimming this late at night anyways? David had always been told by his mom when he was a kid never to swim in the ocean at night, especially not alone. And when the boy looked around, he couldn't see anybody else in the water with or near the stranger, which meant that this person wasn't only a total creep, but they were also very stupid.

The reason David knew this person was a creep was because he could tell they were watching him. He could feel the eyes weighing on him, like a casted shadow of judgement that David couldn't shake off, and considering the person had been floating in the same spot facing him for the last five minutes, he was pretty sure that the only thing they could be watching was him. Unless he was like, dead or something, but David highly doubted that was the case.

Most people when noticing a strange figure
watching them at night would probably turn around and head home. Y'know, staying safe and all that. But David Nutt was certainly not most people, and he wasn't a wimp like that. So instead of getting up to go home, David decided to confront the stranger.

"HEY! ARE YOU WATCHIN' ME, CREEP?!" David shouted at the stranger out across the night, his voice loud but not carrying too far as the cool night air swept it away.
