Aka, Touch starved Mario is simply my favorite. And I write about it for 10,000+ Words (:

My first attempt at a 5 + 1 oneshot! And god, it took me two months, but it was ducking worth it because I love this!!!

Ritchie's POV (Season Four)

Ritchie had always known that Mario hated physical touch.

I mean, it was sort of obvious. The way he recoiled and glared at anybody who had brushed against his shoulder much more spitefully than he usually did. They way that he never handed anybody anything directly, opting to place it on a table or some hard surface so the person could pick it up instead. The way he never offered any hugs, even to Kit, and never shook hands with anybody. Heck, Mario didn't even try to get a spot on the couch during their mandatory guild movie night, always either sitting on the floor or pulling up a chair, trying to stay as far away from people and touch as he possibly could.

When Mario had first joined the guild, it had been so much of a problem that it started effecting him in training. He would always flinch away when a hand, even of a teammate, came too close, which disrupted his progress a lot. Ritchie and Brandon were not one's to question their guildmate's personal issues, unless it was harming them in some way or disrupting something important. Something like training.

Mario had gotten out of their questioning, though, deciding just to wear more layers instead of telling them anything, which made his discomfort in training apparently somewhat bearable as the touch didn't seem to effect him nearly as much as it used to after that. Although all guild members still caught a glimpse of a distracted look on his face every time he was touched, which they all assumed was internalized discomfort. Either way, Ritchie and Brandon never really got an answer for why he hated touch so much, or even really knew how much he really hated it.

A lot more than Ritchie thought, apparently.

It had been a pretty normal day in the guild so far. Ritchie and Brandon had finished their days worth of paperwork, the two twins deciding to head down into the guild hall where the rest of their guildmates were kind of just aimlessly chatting and arguing, as they always did for about an hour or so at around 4pm. It had just become a... thing. It was a pretty decent time. Pretty much everybody was done with whatever quest or activity they had been doing that day, and they all just kind of gravitated towards each other in their free time. Divinus was like a family, after all. They needed each other to breath.

Whatever reason they had for all being together, they were. Ritchie and Brandon were talking with Lucas and David, which was more like Ritchie and David were bickering and Brandon and Lucas were enjoying couple time with each other. Bjorn was drinking in the corner, having about 5-6 mugs of beer around him. Inmo was talking with his boss, drinking from his own drink himself. All was pretty normal in the Divinus Guild hall, at least, normal for the standards of Divinus Magia, that was, until Mario and Kit walked in.

"I'm telling you Kid, I'm fine-- Ow. Okay, that actually hurt this time," The guild members heard Mario say as he was ushered into the guild hall by his little sister.

"No. No you're not." She argued, prodding Mario once again with a strangely bent and broken fencing sword that she had declared as the 'Poker 3000', which was essentially just to force Mario to do things without having to actually drag him anywhere. David had thought it was absolutely hilarious, (In a years time, he would think the same even after the two started dating) asking Kit to borrow the stick on multiple occasions, to which she always declined. She may poke Mario a lot, but only when he deserved it, (like when he wouldn't buy her candy) and she wouldn't subject her big bro to that much cruelty unprovoked.
