Unexpected

Everyone in the home were still shocked about the revelation. Vishak looked at for answers. He had lots of questions in his mind but still he waited for his wife to open up.

" Swathi was raped when she was 16 " Nithya said quietly.  Vishal just left from the place quietly without speaking anything.

" She is an undercover agent working for the government.... That's why we never wanted her to get married.  No guy is accept her what she is .... " She said quietly looking at Vishak.

" Just get some sleep we will talk about this later " Janaki assured Nithya and retired to her room sighing.

Vishak took Nithya to their room by wrapping his hands around her shoulder.

Nithya laid on Vishak's chest while was playing with her hair as they were lying on the bed.

" I was scared when I saw her on the hospital bed that day. I wasn't there when she faced such things.  I was unable to do anything " Nithya mumbled quietly.

" Don't worry everything happens for a reason " Vishak assured her kissing her forehead.

" I was unable to face her .... I could have saved her if I wasn't with him. " she said again.

" shhh its your past don't bring it again...let the bygones be bygone " he said looking at the ceiling.

" It haunts me .... " she said hugging him tightly.  In turn he hugged her tightly and lulled her to sleep.

The next morning as usual everyone sat around the table for the breakfast.  Everyone were quiet and Swathi knew she was the reason. Nithya decided to break the ice.

" Swathi why don't you remove that bracelet from your hand. You know it has become old " Nithya told her sister. Vishal coughed .

" Akka you know na its very important to me " Swathi said to her sister and left as soon as she had her breakfast.

Nithya had a crooked smirk on her face while she eyed Vishal.

" OK fine Anni you caught me. I know Swathi way before and I  know everything that happened in her life too and one more thing I did not marry her to let hergo" he said to her.

" How do you know her " Vishak asked his brother to which he explained it from the beginning.

" I hope you won't let my trust on you down Vishal. " Nithya told vishal.

" Not even in my dreams Anni " he said smiling at her....
