Unexpected

chap 34

    Vishak laid beside Nithya hugging her while she was in deep thoughts.  Both weren't asleep. Vishak wanted to stay beside her to make sure she is with him. But her mind was wandering around many things that she doesn't want to say out loud.

   Dev entered the room and saw the love birds laying on the bed beside eachother holding hands.

" Its nice to see you both together " Dev said smiling.

" Dev.... " Vishak acknowledged his presence.

" so today we can get you out of your cast and I hope you are really glad Anni "  Dev said smiling at her.

" ufff.. finally " Nithya sighed making the guys chuckle. Dev started removing her cast while Vishak was beside her holding her as if she would vanish.

After removing the cast Dev asked her to be careful.  He was packing up his bag while someone entered the room.

" Akka sir wants to meet you " Swathi said to Nithya.  Nithya stiffened in Vishak's hold. Vishak looked at her worried.

"  ok then I'm leaving Anni " Dev turned around to see Ashwin. Both were shocked to see eachother.

" So you are finally back after years of exile huh " Ashwin asked Dev entering the room. The air inside the room became tensed.

" Don't let him reach Dev " Nithya whispered to Vishak.  He looked confused but still he knew something was wrong.

Aswin was about to launch at Dev but before that Vishak holded Ashwin's hand.

" Let me go Vishak. I need to hit this guy. " he yelled furiously.

" stop it Ashwin " Nithya said camly.

" really  Nini ,you are still supporting this guy even after all these years. Why don't you get it in your thick skull that your  sister had faced such humiliation in her life because him " Ashwin yelled at her.

" How do you know sir .. " Swathi asked quiet surprised.

" Yes I accept it every thing happened because of me. But look still here in her life. But what about you " Dev yelled for the first time.

" You let her go because of what you just fell out of love. I'm glad you did just because of that my Anni got a good life partner " he said shoving past him while Ashwin eyed Nithya with an unknown emotion.

" I'm sorry I think I should leave now " Ashwin left as this wasn't something he expected.  When he heard from Swathi that Nithya was sick he came to meet her but he did not expect to see Dev there.

   Swathi left to her room thinking hard about everything happened there.

" so he is the ex- boyfriend " Vishak asked her. She nodded her head.

" It was something I don't want to remember.  So I never told you it was him " Vishak nodded in agreement.

He did not want to talk about it further. He didn't know the cyclone that prevailed to came soon....
