Unexpected

chap 30

    Everyone were sitting in the room quietly as they want to be with Nithya. Vishak sat near Nithya playing with her fingers as she laid on his chest sleeping.

   Dev entered the room after seeing Ishu's text on his mobile. Everyone were surprised to see him in doctor attire. He saw her sleeping peacefully in Vishak's chest.

  " you are a doctor " Nithin asked him in surprise. He just nodded his head. Dev looked at Ishu who was playing in her mobile.

" Her pulse and heartbeats are normal along with the BP  " Ishu said still playing in mobile.

" But really .... " Nithin said still looking at Dev. Nithya woke up hearing their hushed voices. Vishak kissed her forehead as she woke up .

  " Good afternoon Dr.Dev " Nithya said smiling looking at Dev. Everyone turned their attention towards Nithya.

" Come here " Nithya said holding her hands out indicating him to come near her. Vishak moved aside giving them space. Dev came towards her and cried hugging her. 

Being shocked could be an understatement.  Nithya patted his back as he cried on her. He pulled back still crying.

" why did you pull such a stunt Anni " Dev asked her.

" I cannot let anything happen to you Dev...  you are my little baby " she said pulling his cheeks.

" OMG... akka he isn't a  baby .... he is just a dumb guy " Ishu said bringing tissue to Nithya . Nithya took the tissue and wiped his tears.

" Just because my little one did not accept your love doesn't mean you can call him dumb " Nithya said to Ishu who just placed her hands on her heart.

" My heart can't take this anymore akka... I  just need to cry out my emotions " Ishu said wiping her non existent tears.

" yeah and don't come back  like ever" Dev said without looking at her.

" you  .... you..... I will come back once I had my boost " she said leaving the room.

Both Nithya and Dev chuckled at her behavior. Dev too stood up to leave the room

" You know you shouldn't have tried to save me..... may be I kind of  deserved it " Dev tried to leave without turning back.

" Dev ..... I don't want to stay here " Nithya said sighing.

" This isn't your home so everything could happen as per your wish " Dev said looking at her seriously.  Nithya just gave him  a sweet smile.

" Nithya do you know him " Hari asked his daughter . She nodded her head. He just shook his head defeatedly. Now he knows that somehow his elder daughter is involved in his younger daughter's rape case. Everyone left for home in the evening.

" I love you " Vishak said hugging her. Nithya kissed his forehead in return.

The next morning Dev came inside the room .

" Dev please....." Nithya pleaded him asking him to let her go to her home.

" Fine you can leave but..... Either me or Ishu is going to be there with you in Vishal's absence " he said raising his eyebrow.

" I'm okay with it " Vishak told Dev.

" but... " Nithya started to say but vishak stopped her.

" No more discussion on this. You can start the procedure  doctor " Vishak told him.

" umm you can call me Dev " Dev told vishak to which he nodded with a little smile.....
