Unexpected

chap 32

         Nithya was  totally under house arrest with bed rest. She wasn't allowed to do any work. Everyone were taking care of her. But she was really fed up and irritated with it. She cannot do anything because her husband made sure to be beside her 24/7.

   Nithya's parents comes to meet her in daily basis . No one spoke about her adoption matter after that day.

   Swathi came back after  her mission. She bid bye to her colleagues and then started her journey back to her home. When she came back she saw both her families in the home. She was  suspicious.  Everyone were worried about how to reveal Nithya's accident to Swathi.

" what's wrong why do you guys look like you have something to tell me but still you can't " Swathi asked no one in particular.

" Just go and freshen up we will talk later " Vishal said pulling her towards their room.

Swathi freshened up and saw that Vishal was not there in the room. She was missing her sister a lot so  she went ahead to Nithya's room.

  There she was shocked to see Nithya's hand being banded . She was about to open her mouth before  which Vishal closed her mouth from behind.

" let's not disturb her. We can discuss about this outside " Vishal whispered in her ear. She nodded her head and went out along with him.

She paced back and forth in anger . No one opened their mouth to say anything.

" How come you people did not inform me about my sister's condition " she yelled at everyone.

" How did this happen " she asked none opened their mouth.

" I'm asking you something " she yelled loudly.

" I shot her " Hari , her Appa opened his mouth for the first time. Swathi was totally shocked.

" why Appa " she asked trying to control her tears.

" I... I  saw her with the guy who spoiled your life. I wanted to kill the guy badly but Nithya saved his by putting her life on line " he said not looking at his daughter.

Swathi cannot believe her ears. If her sister wants to save someone then it means they are important to her. But how come the guy is still alive roaming freely. She was in deep thoughts.

" Nithya doesn't want any of us to hurt that guy " Rithik said with his jaw clenched.

" I..  I... can't say anything " Swathi struggled internally.

Vishak on the otherside prayed that Dev shouldn't come at this time as he said he wanted to pay visit to Nithya.  But all his prayers went in vain when Dev entered the home without noticing the tense situation.

Usually he never paid attention to anyone.  All he did was to come here and visit his Anni. Even today was the same for him. So he moved towards the room playing on his mobile without noticing anything happening around him.

Everyone stood up when they saw Dev. They noticed Swathi looking at him shocked.  Tears formed in her eyes seeing the guy. Vishal tried to hold her but she just swatted away his hand.

" Anandh " she called out loud.

           Dev stopped on his tracks . His heart started beating loudly that even people around him could even hear that. He turned around slowly.  He saw Swathi for the first time after all these years in person.  She has changed a lot from the little timid girl. His eyes held different emotions.

  Swathi ran towards him and hugged him tightly.  He staggered back but still holded on. She had her arms around him while he stood there numb.

Everyone were shocked to see this. Now everything is more confusing than ever.....
