The days passed silently as if it was a calm before a storm. No one knew the past is gonna knock at their door again fading their smiles far away from them.
Vishak entered the home emotionless. No one has seen him like that ever. They understood something was bothering him. Nithya was in her room reading books as usual.
Vishak went upstairs without conversing with anyone. He went inside the room and saw Nithya in her usual routine reading book.
He went towards her and kept a file infront of her. Nithya looked at the file and then at Vishak and smiled at him.
" Open it Nithya " Vishak told her without any emotions. She opened it and started reading it.
" It was my baby too Nithya you could have atleast discussed it with me before killing it. Maybe I would have supported you with this decision since its your body and you are the one who is going to carry it for ten months but still you could have told me " he said as a single tear came out of his eye.
" Vishak li.." Nithya started to say
" No Nithya right now your explanations are not going to calm my mind " he said and went to the balcony. He never told anyone in the home about anything because whatever it is it's between him and his wife so he doesn't want anyone to interfere.
Nithya saw the abortion report and squeezed it tightly with her hands. She never wanted anyone to know about this.
She never let anything about the past to come out though she has to sacrifice her happy life. But still she doesn't want to loose Vishak at any cost.
At night both slept on the bed facing away from eachother. Sleep was far away for both of them. Nithya can't sleep thinking about the past which she was hiding from everyone for years. She knew one day or the other everything will be revealed so she is scared.
Vishak couldn't sleep thinking why she never told him about their baby.
Both couldn't sleep. They are close yet the are far ....both can't be without eachother they have become a part of eachother's life which cannot be removed easily....
