Chapter Six

Rosalie’s P.O.V
It was another day and I had found out that Hagrid had gotten back fro his hearing earlier today and I had gone to see how he was doing after helping Professor Sprout with some of her plants and by the time I had gotten there, I saw that he was in the lake skipping Rocks and I walked a little closer and spoke up, “hello Hagrid. How was the hearing?” I asked him and he turned around a little, “hello Rosalie. It wasn’t as good as I thought it was going to be.” he told me as he continued to skip rocks and I furrowed my brows a little, “what do you mean? What happened?” I asked him, “after talking about what had happened, Lucius Malfoy had suggested that Buckbeak was a dangerous creature so the Minister had thought of the worst. They’ve sentenced Buckbeak to death.” Hagrid told me and I sighed a little, “I’m sorry to hear that Hagrid. It’s not your fault you know, nor was it Buckbeaks. If Malfoy hadn’t done what he did that day, none of this would have happened.” I told him, “I know but there’s nothing we can do about it now.” he said letting out a sigh until I began to hear footsteps and turned around to see Harry, Edeline, Ron and Hermione and I was about to leave myself before I stopped, “it’s not good. He’s very upset right now.” I told them and they all nodded before I walked away and eventually made it back to the Castle and walked around in case anyone needed help with anything until I ended up at the Astronomy Tower and looked around at the view and smiled at myself until I was deep in thought before I felt someone touch my shoulder and looked to see that it was Remus and I smiled at him before he kissed my cheek, “remember the times we spent up here?” he asked and I chucked a little and nodded, “yes I do. I remember very well.” I said to him as he hugged me from behind, “Edeline went to go and see Hagrid earlier.” he told me, “I know. I went to see him myself when she got there. He had just gotten back from a hearing at the Ministry. They’ve put Buckbeak to death and he’s really upset about it.” I told him and heard him let out a sigh, “we should head back down. We had night duty later.” he said and I turned around before kissing him and eventually, the both of us had left the Astronomy Tower and managed to make it to the Great Hall later on before the both of us had took a small nap before doing night duty and the both of us had wandered the halls before we noticed Snape and Harry as the both of them were talking, “Professor” Remus spoke up getting their attention, “Well, Well. Lupin. Out for a little walk in the moonlight, are we?” Snape asked him, “piss off.” I said to him, “Harry, are you alright?” Remus asked him as he walked closer to Harry, “that remains to be seen. I have just now confiscated  a rather curious artifact from Mr. Potter. Take a look, Lupin. Supposed to be your area of expertise. Clearly, it’s full of dark Magic.” Snape said as he gave the parchment to Remus and I furrowed my brows a little as it looked familiar, “I seriously doubt it, Severus. It looks to me as though it’s merely a parchment designed to insult anyone who tries to read it. I suspect it’s a Zonko Product. Nevertheless, I shall investigate any hidden qualities it may possess. It is, after all, as you say, my area of expertise. Harry, would you come with me and your Aunt, please? Professor, goodnight.” Remus had said before we walked away with Harry following us.

By the time we had gotten back to Remus’s classroom, he began to speak up again as soon as we walked into the room, “Come in. Now, I haven’t the faintest Idea Harry How this map came to be in your possession but quite frankly, I am astounded that you didn’t hand it in. did it ever occur to you that this, in the hands of Sirius Black is a map to you?” Remus said to Harry and Harry just shook his head, “no sir.” he said to Remus, “you know, your father never set much in store by the rules either, but he and your mother gave their lives to save yours, causing your Aunt to lose her brother. Gambling their sacrifice by wandering around the castle unprotected with a killer on the loose seems to be a pretty poor way to repay them.” Remus said to him, “Remus, calm down.” I said to him and he took a minute before speaking up again, “now I will not cover up for you again. Do you hear me?” Remus said to him, “yes Uncle Remus.” Harry said to him, “I want you to return to your dormitory and stay there. And don’t take any detours. If you do, we shall know.” Remus said to Harry before he walked away and just before he was about to walk out of the room, Harry had spoken up, “Uncle Remus. Aunt Rosie, just so you know, I don’t think that map always works.” he told us and I furrowed my brows a little, “how do you mean?” I asked him, “earlier, It showed someone in the castle. Someone I know to be dead.” Harry said and I looked at Remus before he spoke up, “oh, really? And who might that be?” he asked Harry, “Peter Pettigrew.” Harry said, “that’s not possible.” Remus told him, “it’s just what I saw.” Harry told him before he walked out of the room after saying goodnight, “I bloody well told you. I’m telling you that cowered is still alive. We both know that the map doesn’t lie. We all made sure of that.” I said to Remus as my worry grew, “I believe you love. I do now. But we can’t say anything to anyone. Not even Edeline. Do you understand” he said and I nodded before hugging him, “I’m worried.” I said to him, “I know darling, I am too.” He said and I let out a sigh, “we should probably get to bed. Do you want to spend the night with me tonight?” I said to him and he nodded, “alright, let's go then love we could use the sleep.” he said and the both of us had eventually made it to my room for the night and had gotten changed before getting into bed and the both of us just laid there for a while as we held each other as the both of us had eventually fallen asleep in each others arms that night.
