Chapter Forty Five

Edeline’s P.O.V
It has been a while and we continued to travel by foot and both Ron and I were walking side by side the entire time before he spoke up, “are you sure they’re not together or anything?” he asked me, “to be honest, I don’t know what’s going on. If they had anything like any feelings of the sort for each other, I’m sure they would have said something to us about it.” I told him and I saw the look on his face, “ok look, I Know what you’re thinking and I know that you’re not fond of it, but feeling this way towards it isn’t going to solve anything alright. So relax about it please. I don’t want this to end up having us separate because of it or something.” I told him and he nodded, “I know, it’s just, it makes me feel angry when I see them together. I don’t like it.” he told me, “then talk to her about it, you and I both know she’s understanding.” I said to him as we continued to walk until we had to stop every once and a while as we hid from Death Eaters until we had decided to camp under a bridge for the time being, “he doesn’t know what he’s doing does he?” Ron asked us, “None of us do.” Hermione said, “I don’t even know if we’re able to find the other Horcruxes in time.” I mentioned to them, “I’m sure we can. It will just have to take some time to do so.” Hermione said to me, “I hope so because the longer we are at looking for these things, the stronger he gets.” I said to her and sighed a little, “I’m sorry if that sounded harsh, I’m just tired and frustrated.” I told her, “it’s fine, you’re not the only one.” she said to me and as time went on, the four of us had managed to move again to a different spot and I was with Ron as he was laying down while I listened to his radio before I began to hear Hermione and Harry speaking and decided to listen to what they were talking about as I noticed that Ron was awake, “how are you feeling?” I asked him, “I’m fine, I just want to hear what they’re talking about.” He said as we had done so and managed to walk over to where they were before Ron had gotten their attention with the lights, “the sword was stolen. Yeah, we’re still here, but you two carry on. Don’t let us spoil the fun.” Ron said to them, “what’s wrong?” Harry asked us, “Wrong? Nothing’s wrong. Not according to you anyway.” Ron said to him, “Look, if either of you got something to say, don’t be shy. Spit it out.” Harry said to us, “alright, I’ll spit it out, but don’t expect us to be grateful just because now there’s another damned thing we've got to find.” Ron told Harry, “I thought you knew what you signed up for.” Harry mentioned to Ron, “yeah, I thought I did too.” Ron said before Harry stood up, “well, I’m sorry but I don’t quite understand. What part of this isn’t living up to your expectations? Did you think we were going to be staying in a 5 star hotel, finding a Horcrux every other day? You thought you’d be back with your mum by Chritsmas?” Harry said to Ron, “I just thought after all this time, we would have actually achieved something. I thought you knew what you were doing, I thought Dumbledore would have told you something worthwhile. I thought you had a plan” Ron said to Harry, “I told you everything Dumbledore told me. And in case you haven’t noticed, we found a Horcrux already.” Harry said as their argument grew, “yeah and we’re about as close to getting rid of it then we are finding the rest of them aren’t we?” Ron said to Harry before Hermione tried talking to Ron as she tried taking the Locket off, “do you know why we listen to that radio every day? To make sure we don’t hear Ginny’s name or Fred, or George or mum or even her parents' names or Malfoy’s.” Ron said to Harry, “You think I’m not listening to? You think I don’t know how this feels?” Harry asked as he shouted, “no you don’t know how it feels. Your parents are dead. You have no family.” Ron said to Harry before the both of them fought for a short while before Harry shouted, “fine then go. Go then” Harry said to Ron before Ron took off the Locket before grabbing his things, “and you? Are you coming or are you staying?” Ron asked Hermione and I and I took a moment to think about it as Hermione and I looked at each other before I decided to grab my things, “I’ll go with you.” I said to him before noticing Hermione wasn’t doing anything, “fine, I get it. I saw you the other night.” Ron said to them, “Ron, that’s nothing.” Hermione said to him before Ron walked out and I was about to do the same before someone grabbed my arm and saw that it was Harry, “don’t go.” he said to me, “I’m sorry, but I’m not letting him go out there alone after what just happened. And considering Snatchers are wandering the streets and forests.” I said to Harry before pulling my arm out of his grip and walked out of the tent and as I held onto Ron, the both of us soon Aparated.
