Chapter Thirty Two

Rosalie’s P.O.V
It was finally a Hogsmeade weekend and both Edeline and myself had managed to make it to the Three Broomsticks and eventually met up with Remus as he wanted to be there with us, “how’s school going love?” Remus asked, “it’s fine, we have a new teacher.” I told him, “yeah, his name is Professor Slughorn. He took Snape's place as Potions Master.” Edeline told him, “then what’s Snape teaching then?” Remus asked, “Defence Against the Dark Arts. at least he finally got the position he wanted.” I said to him before our Butter Beers came around before seeing Harry, Ron And Hermione as they sat down with us, “three Butterbeers and some Ginger in mine please.” Hermione said to the worker, “oh Bloody hell.” Ron said and I furrowed my brows a little, “what are you on about?” I asked him, “honestly Ronald, they’re only holding hands.” Hermione said and Edeline and I turned to see what was going on before seeing Ginny and Dean, “I think it’s more than that.” Edeline said as the both of them kissed, “and snogging.” Hermione said, “I’d like to leave.” Ron said and I chuckled a little, “what? You can’t be serious?” Hermione asked him, “That happens to be my sister.” Ron mentioned, “so. What if she looked over here and saw you snogging me, would you expect her to get up and leave?” Hermione asked him, “she has a point Ron, should have seen James when he saw me and Rosalie together. Bloody hell it was a nightmare, but he had his reasons.” Remus said and I smiled a little and blushed, “it annoyed him actually but we thought it was funny.” I said to them before seeing Harry waving at someone and looked to see that it was Professor Slughorn as he walked up to us, “Harry my boy.” he said to Harry, “hello sir, wonderful to see you.” Harry said as the both of them shook hands, “and you, and you.” Slughorn said, “what brings you here?” Harry asked him, “the Three Broomsticks and I go way back, further than I care to admit. I could remember when it was one Broomstick” Slughorn said before accidentally spilling his drink, “all hands on deck Granger.” Slughorn said and I gave her a few napkins, “listen my boy, in the old days I used to throw together the occasional supper party and select a student or two. Would you be game?” Slughorn said to Harry, “I consider it as an honor sir.” Harry told him, “you’ll be welcome to Granger and Lupin.” Slughorn said to Hermione and Edeline, “I’d be delighted Sir.” Hermione said, “I’d be more than happy.” Edeline said to him, “splendid. Look for my Owl. good to see you Walenbee.” Slughorn said before leaving, “what are you playing at?” Ron asked Harry, “Dumbledore’s asked me to get to know him. He’s been meaning to talk to you about it too.” Harry said to Ron and I, “get to know him?” Ron questioned, “why?” I asked him, “I don’t know. It must be important, if it wasn’t Dumbledore wouldn’t ask.” Harry said and I sighed a little, “you have a point.” I said to him, “well I best be off. See you for Christmas love.” Remus said as he kissed my cheek and left the Three Broomsticks.

After a while, we managed to leave the Three Broomsticks and both Edeline and I were talking before we heard someone scream and saw what was going on, “I warned her. I warned her not to touch it.” Leanne said to us, “it’s alright. Just stay back alright. I don’t think it will last much longer.” I told her as we watched what happened to Katie before she fell to the ground before hearing Hagrid speak up, “don’t get any closer. Get back, all of you.” he said as he walked up to Katie and picked her up, “do not touch that, except for the wrappings.” Hagrid said and I picked it up as I did what Hagrid said, “I’m taking this to McGonagall. All of you get back to the Castle, I’m sure she'll want to talk to all of you about this.” I said to them before going with Hagrid and we eventually made it back to the Castle and I went to look for Minerva until I eventually found her, “we need to talk.” I told her before going into an empty room and showed her the Necklace, “what is this?” she asked, “I don’t know but something happened to Katie Bell when she touched it.” I told her before Leanne, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Edeline came into the room and stood next to each other, “do you mind going to find Severus for me dear?” she asked me and I nodded before leaving and eventually found him in his classroom grading something, “Minerva wants to talk to you. It’s urgent.” I said to him before he got up and the both of us went back to Minerva.
