Chapter Twenty Five

Rosalie’s P.O.V
After Harry, Edeline, Ron and Hermione talked with me about what they found out, we agreed to meet somewhere as I agreed to help them with whatever they needed and we were making our way through Hogsmead to get to the meeting spot, “this is mad. Who’d want to be taught by me, we’re nutters, remember?” Harry mentioned to us, “look on the bright side, you can’t be any worse than old toad face.” Ron said to him, “thanks Ron.” Harry said, “Ron’s right you know. It’s better than doing nothing about it.” I said to him “who’s supposed to be meeting us than?” Harry asked, “just a couple of people.” Hermione told him once we took a step inside the meeting place, “lovely spot.” Ron said to us, “I thought it would be safer if we’re somewhere off the beaten track.” Hermione said to him and we soon walked inside and waited for everyone else to arrive and once they did, there was an awkward silence before Hermione spoke up, “um, hi. So you all know why we’re here, we need a teacher. A proper teacher. One who’s had real experience defending themselves against the Dark Arts.” Hermione said to everyone, “why?” a boy asked her, “why? Because You-Know-Who’s back you tosspot.” Ron said to him, “so they say then.” the boy said and I rested my hand on Harry and Edeline’s shoulders while the others continued, “so Dumbledore says.” Hermione said to him, “So Dumbledore says because they said. The point is, where’s the proof?” The boy said, “Potter and Lupin could tell us more about how Diggory got killed,” another said, “I don’t think they'd want to, considering they had to watch. I think that’s more than enough for them.” I said before Harry spoke up, “she’s right, neither of us are going to talk about Cedric so if that’s why you’re here, you mine as well clear out now.” Harry said to everyone but no one did anything before Luna had spoken up, “is it true you and Edeline can produce a Patronus Charm?” she asked them, “yes. I’ve seen it.” Hermione said, “it’s true and it was bloody brilliant too.” I said and smiled at the both of them, “blimey Harry, Edeline. I didn’t know you could do that” Dean said to them, “and he killed a Basilisk with the sword in Dumbledore’s office and Edeline helped him to.” Neville said, “it’s true.” Ginny said, “in third year, they fought off about a hundred Dementor’s at once.” Ron told them, “and last year, they really did fight off You-Know-Who in the flesh.” Hermione said to everyone, “wait, look it all sounds great when you say it like that but the truth is most of that was just luck. Neither of us knew what we were doing half the time, we nearly always had help.” Harry said, “he’s just being modest.” Hermione said before Edeline stood up, “no, Hermione he’s right. Facing this stuff in real life is not like school or in a classroom.” She said, “in school if you make a mistake you can just try again tomorrow. But out there, when you’re a second away from being murdered or watching a friend die right before your eyes, you don’t know what that’s like.” Harry continued, “he’s right, out there when you really have to face all of that, you may not get a second chance and try again, you may not even get the chance to save yourself from whatever’s coming at you in the end and it sucks that you may not get to save someone you love or save a friend that you had since you were kids. In that moment, that’s when everything changes, that’s when everything around you becomes real and it hurts when you have to go through all of that and sometimes, there’s nothing you can do about it but hope that it ends sooner rather than later.” Edeline said to everyone before she sat back down and Hermione spoke up, “you’re right Harry and Edeline, we don’t. That’s why we need your help because if we’re going to have any chance at beating Voldemort.” Hermione said before Nigel spoke up, “he’s really back?” he asked and both Edeline and Harry nodded before people lined up and started writing their names on a piece of paper.

Once everyone had written their names and left, a group of us had eventually left ourselves as we made our way back to the Castle. “Right, first we need to find a place to practice where Umbridge won’t find out,” Harry said, “the Shrieking Shack?” Ginny asked, “it’s too small” I told her, “the Forbidden Forest?” Hermione suggested, “not bloody likely.” Ron said to her, “Harry, what happens if Umbridge does find out?” Ginny asked him, “who cares, I mean, it’s sort of exciting isnt it? Breaking the rules” Hermione said and my eyes went wide, “is she alright?” Edeline asked, “Who are you and what have you done to Hermione Granger?” Ron said to her and I chuckled a little, “I could ask the same thing.” I said to them, “Anyway, at least we know one positive thing that came from today.” Hermione said, “what’s that?” Harry asked, “oh please, you really don’t know?” Edeline said and he shrugged his shoulders, “Cho couldn’t take her eyes off you could she.” Hermione told him, “you really haven’t noticed?” I asked him, “no I didn’t” He said and I chuckled a little until we made it to the Castle, “right, over the next few days, we should each come with a couple of possibilities of places we can practice” Harry told us and they all agreed as we walked inside and I managed to put my coat away before I wandered the halls before bumping into Neville again, “hey Neville. How are you doing?” I asked him before Crabbe and Goyal bumped into him on purpose, “watch where you're going Longbottom” Goyal said, “really. Grow up, both of you.” I said to them and they just gave me a look before they continued to walk away, “are you alright?” I asked him and he just nodded and as I was about to walk away, we began to hear something and saw a door appear in the wall, “I’ve never seen this before.” I mentioned to Neville, “why don’t you go and get Harry and the others” I said to Neville and he had done so and eventually came back with Harry, Ron, Edeline, Hermione and the Twins and we soon walked into the room, “you’ve done it Neville,  you’ve found the Room of Requirement.” Hermione said to him, “the what?” Ron asked, “it’s also known as the Come and Go Room. The Room of Requirement only appears when a person has real need for it. And is always equipped for the seeker’s needs.” Hermione said, “so, say you really needed the toilet.” Ron suggested, “really” Edeline said and I chuckled a little, “Charming Ronald, but yes that is the general Idea.” Hermione said, “then this is it, this is where we practice.” I said to them and they all agreed before we left and they eventually told everyone else.
