Edeline’s P.O.V
It was another day and the four of us had agreed to try and destroy the Locket and to be honest, I felt kind of uneasy about it but I knew we had to do it so that we could be one step closer to killing Voldemort, “you first.” Hermione said to Harry before he used a spell, having it hit the Locket as the four of us hoped that we had destroyed it and we checked to see if we had done so but saw that there wasn’t a scratch on it and I sighed a little, “Incendio.” Hermione said causing it to burst into flames but that hadn’t done anything either and I tried using my powers and I was surprised that it had done something but not enough to destroy it completely and Harry tried a few more ties but it had done nothing in the end before he picked it up, “what are you doing?” Hermione asked him, “we have to keep it safe until we can figure out how to destroy it.” Harry told her, “seems strange mate. Dumbledore sends you off to find all of these Horcruxes but doesn’t tell you how to destroy them. Edeline was the only one who was able to do something to it when she used her Powers. Doesn’t that bother you?” Ron said to him, “I’m not letting her exhaust herself trying to destroy it.” Harry said before walking away, “it seems like the only way to me to be honest. I’d rather exhaust myself than keep that thing around.” I said to them, “I know how you feel mate, but I’m going to have to agree with Harry for the time being and if there isn’t any other way to destroy it, you might just be a last resort.” Ron said to me, “Ron’s right Edeline. It might just take too much power for you to destroy it alone” Hermione told me and I sighed a little, “I know, it’s just, I don’t know, I feel like it changes you when it’s close to someone.” I told them before we eventually made it back to the tent and both Ron and I continued to listen to the radio, “do you think everyone is alright?” I asked him, “I hope so. So far, none of their names have been said on the radio.” he told me as I brought my knees to my chest and held Draco’s ring, “who’s that?” he asked me as he pointed at the ring, “it’s Draco’s. He gave it to me before all of this happened.” I told him, “why?” he asked and I thought about it, “I suppose he doesn’t want me to forget him or what we had. He asked me out, it surprised me that he wanted to date me, let alone a Half Blood, but I said yes. Ever since then, there was a side of him that he kept covered from everyone else, something that he’s not used to showing very often.” I told him, “as if he had an ego that covered the things he felt embarrassed about.” he said and I nodded, “yes, that’s probably why he was always bullying us throughout the years, it was like an ego to him. Made people think he was better than everyone else.” I told Ron and we continued to talk before Harry and Hermione came back inside.

later that night, I wanted to get some air and both Hermione and myself was sitting in front of the fire in silence before the both of us heard something causing me to stand up quickly and both Hermione and I just looked at each other before we walked to where the noise was and I had my wand out just in case and after hearing a few more noises, we eventually saw Snatchers walking by before on of them spoke up, “what’s that?” he asked as he stopped walking before walking back to where Hermione and I were standing, “what’s that smell?” the same man asked as he stood in front of us before one of the Snatchers dropped the body they were carrying, “what are you doing?” the man in front of us asked, “it’s heavy.” the other said, “oh sorry, do you want me to carry it?” the man asked as he walked away and they argued a little before they finally left and I let out a heavy sigh of relief, “let’s stop wearing perfume now shall we.” I said to her and she nodded, “agreed.” Hermione said before hearing Harry, “Snatchers. Good to know that your enchantments work.” he said to us as he walked up beside me, “he could smell it. Our perfume.” Hermione told him before we headed back to the tent, “I told you, Ron isn’t strong enough to Apparate,” Hermione said to Harry, “then we walk. It’s only a matter of time before they find us.” I said to her, “she’s right, we go on foot.” Harry said to her and as time went on, we began to travel by foot and throughout that time, I walked with Ron while Harry and Hermione had done the same, “do you think he fancies her?” Ron asked, “I doubt it. I’m sure he’s seen the way you look at her.” I told him before he looked at me and I smiled a little, “it wasn’t that hard to figure out when you see your best friend drooling over someone.” I told him and we both chuckled a little
