June 15, 2022 (real date). It's the morning after BTS released their Festa dinner for the 9th Anniversary. They announced that they will be going on hiatus as a group but will be pursuing their solo projects. They will return again to us sometime in the future with their new experiences. I had no idea and, like the rest of ARMY, cried with BTS as we watched.
I started writing Moving Forward in April 2022 with no defined plot. I just allowed the story to write itself and lead me to where it wanted to go. I finished the 33 parts on June 10. If you've read it, there is a 7-year hiatus in this story before BTS gathers again to meet ARMY. The hiatus here is for a totally fictional reason, but the need for a time of rest is not. Everyone who has been working in the same conditions for as long as BTS has will need a break in order to recharge, to gain new insights and perspectives, and generally to just grow.
So I want to tell ARMY who may be reading this not to worry. Just like in this story, BTS and ARMY will be together again. Let's wait patiently - I don't think it will last 7 years - and support their individual projects, until the time comes when they are ready to meet us again as Bangtan.
