"Yes, I did" Blossom 'Foot said in a low voice.
"w-why?" The apprentice weeped.
"well...I-" Blossom'Foot said slowly, as she looked at the apprentice.
Snow'Paw tried to stand up, but she toppled back over onto her twisted leg with a small yowl of agony.
"ow!" The apprentice yelped.
With a pang of sympathy, Blossom'Foot's gaze softened, before looking away quickly.
"Violet'Paw, watch Snow'Paw while i'm gone." Blossom'Foot said with a sigh and padded out of the large, sun-light filled den.
"Alright!" Violet'Paw said, calling after her mentor.
"Nothing I can do but leave her. " Blossom'Foot said, padding up to the leader with a 'sad' look plastered to her face.
Owl'Star frowned and shook her head.
"I'll tell the clan..." She said, in a quiet and sad tone.
Owl'Star started up the high rock slowly, as her head drooped.
Blossom'Foot nodded.
"Let all cats gather under the highrock for a clan meeting!" Owl'Star bellowed.
The cats looked up at their calling leader and headed towards the mossy carpets that lied below the highrock.
Once everyone had gathered below, Owl'Star began to talk. "Sadly..Snow'Paw is in a state where we should leave her be to go to Star-Clan..So I believe you should say your goodbyes and farewells.. "
Everyone's head dipped in respect and sadness for the apprentice.
"Thank you all for listening..Make sure to visit Snow'Paw..Meeting dismissed." Owl'Star said before leaping off the highrock towards the medicine den.
Everyone stood up and began to scatter around the camp, as the murmurs swept throughout it.
Adder'Flare walked with her head low to the medicine den,"Well done" She said.
"One less cat." Blossom'Foot said quietly, turning her head to Adder'Flare.
Adder'Flare nodded and walked past the white and brown colored she, following Owl'Star into the medicine den.
Blossom'Foot followed behind Adder'Flare but paused and padded past her and the leader, into her den.
Blossom'Foot walked in and the smell of thyme, mint and dandelions filled her nose in wafts, as the she padded over to the moss nests that lied along the wall of the left side of the den.
Owl'Star and Adder'Flare walked a slow pace into the den, as Blossom'Foot turned to her right and put her white and brown paw on the shelf, and sat down.
Snow'Paw lied in a nest behind her as she coughed and turned onto her side, weak.
Blossom'Foot looked behind her at the white pelt that rose and fell softly in the drafts of wind blowing throughout the den.
"We should let her rest." Owl'Star said in a soft tone, as she looked at Snow'Paw, the apprentices breathing slowing dramatically.
Blossom'Foot nodded and turned and watched the apprentice.
Snow'Paw started to feel dizzy and very sick to her stomach, her heart pounded.
Snow'Paw shivered, looking at the thyme that sat under her paw, and then she closed her eyes..Then seconds later her heart stopped and her mind went blank as she went limp and cold in the moss bed she lied in.
"Oh no-" Owl'Star said in a soft and quiet tone.
Owl'Star turned around and padded out of the den towards Rose'Skull.
"Snow'Paw is-" Owl'Star paused and shook her head "Dead."
