"Jaehyun. Are you sure?"

Taeyong asked the younger, barely moving from where he stood as he spoke at a lower volume.

"I am.. I saw a small group of guys around the corner. They were looking at you as if they knew you. They have to be the same ones that hurt you before. Go with Johnny-hyung and run for my apartment. I'll deal with them and meet back with you in a few minutes"

Jaehyun instructed them, giving Johnny his keys.

"But, what about you..?"

"Don't worry, I'll handle it. Just hurry up and go"

"Taeyong. We've gotta go"

Johnny grabbed the younger's hand, insisting that they follow Jaehyun's orders.

"Fine.. Don't take too long.."

Taeyong frowned as he ran off with Johnny, using their incredible speed as vampires to get away in the blink of an eye.

Jaehyun acted normal and leaned up against the wall of the alleyway with his arms crossed, eventually seeing the group turn the corner to find only him. They looked around for Taeyong and Johnny, but the leader of the group seemed to get annoyed when he found no one.

"..You there. Where did the vamps go? They were walking with you just now. So where did they go?"

"I don't know about any 'vamps', and I wasn't walking with anyone. I've been alone here this whole time, so why don't you go look for who you're trying to find somewhere else and leave me out of it?"

"Stop trying to hide them and tell us where they went. It's our job to eliminate them and rid this city of all of the other bloodsucking murderers like them. I'd advise you to not get in the way. You just might get hurt"

"Look, I already asked you nicely. What part of me telling you to get lost didn't you understand? I don't know about any vampires that you're looking for, and I don't want you involving me in your stupid job. Why don't hunt down some vampires that are actually hurting people instead of searching for ones that were never here to begin with? Now I'm going to say this just one last time. Just take your crew and your incriminating job, and get lost"

Jaehyun moved away from the wall and challenged the leader of the group, raising his voice from the pure annoyance he felt.

"Why you little... How dare y-"
