During the past week that Jaehyun spent living in the palace, he got to learn more about everyone that he lived with. And just as he expected, Doyoung was the one that conversed with him the least. Apart from his silence, he seemed to be distancing himself away from everyone instead of just him. He didn't want to bother him, but he couldn't ignore his growing concerns for Doyoung. So before he decided to head back to the palace after work, he picked out a nice flower from his shop, and then ventured to a nearby convenience store to purchase a couple more gifts for him.

Afterwards he headed back to the castle, and decided to shower before taking his gifts to Doyoung. However, when he got to his door, he noticed a small "Do Not Disturb" sign hanging on the doorknob. Instead of knocking, he decided to stand next to the door and just wait for Doyoung instead of disturbing him. He stayed standing there for a while, until the door finally unlocked and swung opened. Doyoung stepped out of the room a bit to greet Jaehyun, wearing his favorite black silk pajamas.

"How long do you plan to stand out here Jaehyun?"

Doyoung frowned with an annoyed expression.

"I'm sorry hyung.. I didn't want or mean to disturb you.. I just noticed that you seemed a bit down lately, so I wanted to bring you some stuff that I thought would cheer you up..."

"...Fine. Come in. Make sure to close the door behind you"

Doyoung walked back into his room, and Jaehyun quickly followed behind him. He made sure to close the door behind him before stopping to admire the older's room.
