It had been a long day of teaching for Johnny at a local university, and he was happy to finally be off of his shift and head home. However, he was not happy about the forecast, as it had been raining for hours and still hadn't ceased. He had an umbrella to keep him shielded from the descending drops of water, but he much preferred overcast weather without the added rain.

Becoming an anatomy professor was something that Johnny had to work hard for, being a vampire and all. People never took too kindly to his kind, whether they were born vampires or turned. And unfortunately for him, he was the only vampire of his kind that possessed special abilities and a special mark that gave him an additional gift. This made it even harder for him to get any sort of job, seeing as people would fear him even more because of what he was capable of.

However, through a lot of background checks, reassurance, and ass-kissing, Johnny finally managed to land a job at the local university, even if he didn't need it. Being the only vampire of his kind, he was considered royalty amongst his species. Because of this, he was given his own palace in his home realm from a young age, despite his late parents being regular vampires themselves. He had no need for a job or anything of the sort since he was automatically the richest vampire of his kind, but he felt that he could do more with his eternal existence.

He wanted to find a way for vampires and humans to live on equal terms, and to do that, he first wanted to land a job once he felt he was mature and old enough. Now that he had finally landed one, his next plan to carry out his dream was to do all sorts of good deeds to prove that there were good vampires in the world that could live among humans in peace. Additionally, he also wanted to make some friends of his own that treated him normally despite his status. He didn't care if they were humans or vampires, just as long as they really truly loved and cared for him.
