After putting the five boys to sleep, the remaining eight vampires noticed that Johnny, Jungwoo, and Ten had been gone longer than they should've been. Doyoung was especially worried about the three, even more so after seeing that he hadn't received a message of any sort from any of them. As time went on, Doyoung had finally reached his limit and gave out new orders.

"Sicheng, I want you to stay here with Jaehyun, Mark, and Donghyuck. The rest of us are going back to the human realm while you stay here with the others"

"...Ok"

"But hyung-"

"No buts Jaehyun. Someone has to watch over Mark's and Donghyuck's friends while we're gone. Something's delaying Ten, Jungwoo, and Johnny-hyung for them to be away this long without a word. We're going to find out what it is and bring them back"

Doyoung insisted, heading to the door with Taeil and Yuta. Before joining the other three, Taeyong went over to his concerned friends and hugged each of them to give them some form of reassurance. He hugged Jaehyun last, intentionally whispering a small warning to him.

"I'm sure we'll be fine. But if we're not back in an hour, I want you to come find us Jaehyun"

Jaehyun tensed up a bit from Taeyong putting so much trust in him, but he hugged him tighter and decided to only focus on taking on his potential responsibility.

"...I will hyung"

Taeyong smiled before letting go of Jaehyun and reassured the four once more that they would return soon before leaving the palace.

"...We should wait here. Your friends won't be awake for hours now, and we'll be able to greet Doyoung-hyung and the others as soon as they return"

Sicheng immediately sat down, refusing to leave the foyer. Mark, Donghyuck, and Jaehyun each sat together with him to keep him from worrying too much, making sure to have their phones handy in case they received a message from anyone.
