After finding themselves in a jam in the human realm, Taeil carried his friend Jungwoo in his arms as he tried to find their secret way back to the vampire realm. They had gotten too comfortable around humans that they thought were their friends, but once they realized they were only leading them into a trap, Jungwoo sacrificed himself to save Taeil. He ended up getting stabbed with a wooden stake to the chest that nearly killed him instantly, but because it stabbed him just a little to the right of his heart, he was able to avoid a quick demise.

However, because it was so close to his heart, the more he moved in certain ways to try and fight back against their enemies, the more the stake moved towards his heart threatening to puncture it completely. Taeil knew that Jungwoo would die if he didn't find someone that could save him, so despite his own injuries that he had endured, he managed to get both of them out of the trap they were set into and desperately tried to find their secret portal, doing his best to keep Jungwoo awake as he carried him. Once he eventually found their exit ticket, he quickly made his way through the portal after making sure no one was around to see them.

Once back in their realm, he walked along the streets of their region, pleading and begging for the other vampires that passed them to help his friend. Taeil slowly began to panic and lose hope as more and more of them refused to help, until a kind vampire by the name of Chittaphon stopped to lend his aid. He knew just as Taeil did that it would be risky for them to try and pull the stake out themselves, but he knew a place where they could get the help they needed. Ten quickly led them to the large palace nearby, where he knew there would be vampires that could lend much better help than any that he could offer.

Once they reached the towering structure, they flew their way up the stairs in order to avoid causing the stake to move by walking their way up, and Chittaphon wasted no time knocking on the front door. Just seconds later, a taller male vampire opened the door with a slightly shorter one not too far behind him.

"Johnny-hyung, we need your help. I'm sure that you and Doyoung-hyung will be the best ones for our problem"

Chittaphon got straight to the point, putting Taeil at ease when he referred their situation as his problem too.

"I see. All three of you come right in, quickly"

The two of them flocked in with Jungwoo, and Johnny and Doyoung led them up the stairs to an empty bedroom.
