"So why does it seem that in less than a month, three of you have miraculously managed to feed off of three different humans?"

Doyoung asked after calling yet another meeting with the other nine vampires. After Yuta had returned with Chenle, Jisung, and Renjun, they decided it would be best to keep the blood packs at their apartment for later use. After the four vampires returned to their palace, they were immediately greeted by the rest of the six.

Of course, Doyoung was the most infuriated out of the six. Without even saying a word, he gave the four of them a glare and walked off to the meeting room. They all knew that he wanted them to follow him, and did so without saying a word. Once they entered the room, he made Taeyong, Johnny, Jaehyun, Yuta, Mark, and Donghyuck sit on the biggest couch in the room while the other three sat elsewhere and he stood as he began scolding them.

"Doyoung, listen"

"First Taeyong-hyung has to feed from Jaehyun due to his own negligence. Then next thing we know, Jaehyun ends up getting turned. Now just two days after that, Mark and Donghyuck have to feed from two of their human friends. Just two fucking days, and this has already happened again??"

Doyoung spoke up before Johnny could explain anything.

"We've already discussed the first issue, so this really isn't about you or Taeyong-hyung this time. It's the rest of you that I'm more irritated and infuriated about, especially the newborn"

"Hyung, please hear us out. Jaehyun really doesn't mean us any harm. He's not like other turned vampires, and he truly cares for our kind and our friends"

"It's true. We mean more to him than you might think. He helped all of us and made very good decisions regarding our situation. I know that I'm the main one to blame because of the blood I drank, and I'm sorry about that. If you have to, punish me instead of Jaehyun.."

Mark and Donghyuck pleaded, causing Jaehyun to finally speak up.

"Absolutely not Donghyuck. I'll take any punishment I'm given. I'll even take the punishments the rest of you are given as well. Doyoung-hyung, Mark and Donghyuck needed help, so Yuta-hyung and I stepped in. I know that we could've done something to stop their friends from getting involved, but given the circumstances, that would've been impossible. We only did what we thought was best, and we did our best to save Donghyuck and Mark. Please understand hyung. We didn't intend to do anything wrong or break any rules. Hyung and I were just looking out for them and their friends"
