"Why hello there Jaehyun. I see you're finally awake again"

Jaehyun woke up in the same room he awoke in before, but this time, he was met with Yuta smiling and sitting near his bed.

"Did I pass out again..?"

"Sure did. After you drained that guy of every ounce of blood he had in him, you suddenly collapsed. I'm not sure if it was because you were a bit squeamish about killing someone like that, or if it was just a part of the transition. But either way you've been asleep for a while. I was starting to get worried"

The older explained, helping Jaehyun out of bed.

"So, I'm officially a vampire now?"

"You sure are~! Welcome to the family!"

Yuta eagerly welcomed Jaehyun as their newest member, confusing the younger greatly.

"Thank you.. I didn't expect to be welcomed this nicely.."

"Some of the others are a bit iffy about having a newcomer, especially a turned vampire. But personally, I don't have a problem with you, especially after everything Taeyong-hyung and Johnny-hyung have told us about you~"

"You're very kind hyung. Thank you so much"

Jaehyun felt as if he was finally able to relax, already feeling comfortable in Yuta's presence.

"No problem! Since this is your new room within our palace, I'll be happy to show you around and help you get used to life around here"

"Wait, palace??? Are you guys royalty??"

"You could say that~. Since we're the only vampires that have special powers, we're pretty much viewed as royalty amongst the vampire species. Look outside your window and see for yourself"

Jaehyun immediately rushed over to the window in his room and opened the curtains before pushing the window open. He was absolutely in awe by the huge kingdom that he was able to gaze upon. The monotone setting was very beautiful to him as well, and was actually better than what he had previously imagined.
