Trust and Honesty

"Does Derek know about us?" Meredith asked Nick, they're packing their things, getting ready to go home.

"What?" Nick asked with a slight laugh.

"I mean, what are we? Are we real? like real,real?" she wanted to know.

"Of course we are" Nick smiled walking closer to her, resting his hand on her waist.

"No pretending anymore? No joking around?" she asked shyly, pouting slightly

"Hundred percent real" he smiled while nodding giving her a quick kiss.

"Our fake marriage? are we going to end it and be a real thing or what?" she asked again.

"That's not a fake marriage license" Nick chuckled

"It's not?" Meredith asked in shock.

"We can't fake a marriage license it's illegal" Nick answered, chuckling

"Are we going to keep it?" Meredith asked

"Do you want to?" Nick gave back.

"I mean we can, it's just-- aren't we moving too fast? We just got official the other night and we got married already, that's insane" Meredith rambled.

"I'll still marry you either way, so what's the problem?" Nick chuckle

"You think we'll last a long time?" Meredith asked with a small smile on her lips.

"I know so" Nick smiled, pulling her for a long and passionate kiss. He sat on the bed, without breaking the kiss he pulled her onto his lap keeping her close. "Hundred percent,sure"

They pulled away when someone knocked at the door.

"We'll be in the lobby,hurry up" Derek yelled

"Yeah, just a minute" Nick yelled back, trying to hold his laugh.

"We should stop for now the others are waiting, we'll continue this at home where it's more comfortable" Meredith grinned, getting off of his lap.

"You're such a tease, you know that right" Nick said, referring to his bulge that was obviously shown through his jeans.

"Offff, sorry" she said sarcastically.Nick just rolled his eyes at her playfully.

Meredith was walking towards the lobby when she saw someone familiar was checking in.

"Excuse me, ma'am" she called carefully,not wanting to startle her or something.

"Yes, can I help you?" the woman answered, smiling genuinely.

"Are you Ms Ynna Herrera?" Meredith asked, nervously smiling.

"Yes, and you are?" Ynna gave back

"Oh my god, I'm Meredith Grey.from Sparkle Paradise." Meredith answers shaking hands with her "I've been following your article on social media it's nice to see you in person" she added.

"Oh, thank you" Ynna smiled back, smiling thankfully at her.

"Hey, you ready?" they heard someone from behind. Meredith turned and saw Nick walking towards them.

"Hey, come here I'll introduce you to Ms Herrera, I've been following her article on social media for quite a while now" Meredith said, as Nick stood next to her.

"Ms Herrera this is N-" before she finished her sentence Ynna interrupted her.

"Nickolas?" Ynna said

"Y-ynna,hey" Nick said hesitantly

"You knew each other?" Meredith asked surprised

"Ye-yeah,she was my wife" Nick cleared his throat."My ex-wife" he added looking down

"How've you been, I missed you" Ynna said softly, hugging Nick

"Uh good, I'm good" Nick said hesitantly, gently getting off himself out of her embrace

"I'm sorry, what's your relationship with him again?" Ynna asked Meredith.

"She's my wife" Nick answered, pulling her closer by her waist

"Oh, ohkay" Ynna nodded hesitantly "It's nice meeting you two. Excuse me" she added smiling forcefully.

They both turned around and saw the staff's mouth were wide open, watching the scenario in front of them the whole time.

"Wife?" Alex chuckled.

"Guess we need to tell them now" Nick breath out.

"Tell us what, you got married and forgot to tell us?" Jo added, sarcastically.

Nick and Meredith invited them in the waiting area and explained everything to them. How it started and their current relationship status.

They have questions but they handled it, they gave them their honest answers, and they all took it pretty well, better than they expected.

"So, you've been living with him the past month when you move out?" Jackson asked.

"Yeah, I am. It's part of the contact ,what am I supposed to do?" Meredith said , trying to reason herself

"So you're together, together now?" Cristina asked, looking at them skeptically

"Yeah" Nick and Meredith nodded union

"No, joke, no contract involved, together?" Jo added.

"Yeah" Meredith chuckled.

"So, will you have a big wedding?" Lexie asked," I mean a real wedding, you know what I mean?"

"W-were, not there yet" Nick answered

"Soon?" Lexie added.

"Eventually,yes" Nick smiled.
