Chapter 10

Manik's pov

"Papa" I heard ashi's shaky voice waking me up

"What's wrong princess" I asked getting up

"Mumma" she said clinging to me

"What happened to Mumma, is she in the shower" I asked

"No, she"

"Yes where is she" I asked

"With D, she will hurt Mumma, papa please help" she said as tears fell from her eyes

"Shh princes, its okay, Mumma is fine" I said getting up with her in my arms

"Mumma said she will come back but she is not back" she said in my neck

"When did she go" I asked not bothering to put a shirt on

"Long time ago" she said and I carried her downstairs to see nandini with a plate in her hand and disha behind her

"He will never love you like he loves me, he will never accept you as his wife or give you the rights" disha said

"You think he loves you" nandini asked smiling

"Yes he does"

"No he doesn't, he has never loved you disha, im sorry for saying this but he doesn't"  Nandini said

"What the fuck do you mean" disha yelled

"Disha if he loved you, or loves you, he would not have given up on this relationship you two have that quickly. Not just that, im sure he knows that his so called girlfriend can't even take care of his daughter. On top of that im sure in his heart he knows you are cheating on him becasue you damn well are" she said and my eyes widened hearing this

"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME" she screamed

"Did you think I wouldn't notice the fresh hickey on your neck that just magically keep appearing in mid afternoon or early mornings" nandini said

"YOU ARE SO OUT OF LINE COMMENTING ON THE HICKEY THAT MANIK GAVE ME" disha yelled

"Sweetheart, I can bet my whole life that manik didnt give you those" nandini said and I was beyond shocked, first with the fact that she noticed those hickey and second becasue she trusts me enough to know I didnt give her those

"YOU FUCKING BITCH" disha yelled and was about to slap Nandini but she grabbed disha's hand

"Don't ever mistake my silence or politeness for me taking eveyrhitng that you, I was quiet because ashi was not involved but since you decided to raise your hand on her I am not gonna be quiet and not just that, I will make sure I figure out what you did to ashi in his absence"  she said

"What the hell are you talking about" I asked walking down

"Manik ashi"that was Nandini's first words

"She fell a sleep, she was crying" I said and nandini was next to me within second

"Why was she crying" she asked

"She was worried for you" I said and she took ashi from my arms

"Mumma" she said as soon as nandini grabbed her

"Hi baby, I told you to not worry na then why were you crying" she asked kissing ashi's cheeks

"Mumma you are okay" she asked

"Of course baby, im okay but you are sleepy" this made ashi giggle for some reason

"Close your eyes baby, you need a small nap" nandini said rocking her a little kissing her head as ashi put her head in nandini's neck
