We headed home, ashi woke up in the car crying because she thought Disha would take her but I told her how she isn't gonna be with Disha ever which made her very very happy just like me. We picked up some food on the way home, along with some ice cream.
We got home and nandini gave ashi a bath becasue it was almost 7 since we did stop at the park too where nandini and I just sat and talked while ashi ran around. I was sitting in my office right now working becasue the whole day I was not feeling like it
"Papa" I heard ashi's voice as the door opened making me look up
"Hi princess"
She walked to me closing the door and I picked her up sitting her in my lap
"Whats my baby doing in papa's office"
"I wanted to talk to you" she said in a serious tone making me almost chuckle
"About what baby"
"Mumma" she said pushing her hair back
"What about mumma' I asked curiously
"Mumma needs a vacay" she said and I was confused
"A vacay why, did she say something to you" I asked
"No"
"Then, what makes you think she needs a vacay" I asked
"Uff oh papa" she is so dramatic
"What baby"
"Mumma is tired na so we go on a vacay" she said
"Okay but how do you know Mumma is tired"
"You silly baby" she said shaking her head at me like she is my mother
"Im confused"
"Papa, vacay, surprise for Mumma okay, she helps ashi, and papa so much" she said which is infant true but this vacation thing I don't know where it came from
"I know baby, she is always working, she never takes any time off, is that why" I asked and she nodded
"Mumma never asks for anything" she said
"I know silly but we have to ask Mumma too right about this vacay thing"
"Umm we can"
"Then lets go ask her but where did ashi want to go"
"Umm anywhere" she said and I nodded
"Lets go ask your Mumma where she wants to go and if she wants to go" I said and she nodded
"I got your Mumma a little gift too but its a surprise okay" she giggled happily
"What surprise" she asked
"Its a surprise for now" I said and she nodded
"Where did you leave your Mumma" I asked not seeing nandini in the room
"Kitchen" she said and I walked downstairs
Ashi startled wiggling in my arms as soon as she saw spongebag on the tv, so I let her down and she sat down on the couch and started watching tv. I shook my head at hw obsessed she is and made my way to the kitchen.
Nandini looked so hot yet cute in her pyjamas, she was wearing this blush colour shorts and tank top, her waist was somewhat visible because her tank top was cropped, she had her hair in a bun. Her hips swayed a bit as she served the food in a plate and was making milkshakes
I walked closer to her, keeping my hands on the counter caging her in my arms, she jumped in fear but relaxed seeing its just me. Her arms had goosebumps even though her body didnt even make contact with mine
"Hi babe"
"Hi"
"Aww babe you are blushing" I said seeing her turn red
"No I am not, why would I blush" she said
"I dont know, but right now I have a few questions for you" I said and she turned around still trapped between the counter and I
"Whats wrong, did I do something" she looked scared
"No babe you didn't I just wanted to ask you something, can I?" She nodded In response
"Would you be down to go on a small trip"
"A trip, where, why and when" she asked with a smile on her face
"Jeez one question at a time"
"Sorry I just"
"Got excited" I asked and she nodded grinning
"Ashi asked me to take you on a vacation becasue she thinks you work too much haha which is true so how would you feel about a 3 to 5 day trip to umm anywhere actually maybe Kashmir or umm we can go abroad" I suggested
"Kashmir sounds great umm yes ahh ya I wanna go a 100 percent ahhhhh this is so exciting, I love ashi for asking you and thank you for considering it, oh my gosh vacation ehhhh yesss goshhh ahhh I love this, its gonna be cold and umm sweaters ahhh thank you thank you thank you manik" she said and hugged me
"Your welcome babe" I said kissing her hair wrapping my arms around her waist
"Thank you" she said again pulling away from the hug
"Your welcome silly" I said and she pecked my cheek
"Now go and let me make you milkshake" she said kissing my cheek again and I chuckled
"Ill help" I said and she nodded
We made milkshakes and then came out with food to see ashi now watching barbie, nandini fed her while eating. We finished dinner and headed up to our room, I was glad she loved the room, she had this smile every time we walk in our room which I hope stays on her face forever becasue I love seeing nandini smile
It is kinda ironic to say this becasue I hated the fact that married her but she has made me dependent on her in this past month without even realizing it. In this month I have never needed to yell or scream or even ask any staff for anything becasue she does it before I ask. Be it my car keys, wallet, breakfast, files, just everyhitn
"Manikkk" I heard nandini pulling me out of my thoughts
"Ya"
"Where are you lost" she asked
"Umm actually never mind, I don't wanna know if it's a girl" she said before I could reply to her first question
"It is a girl" I teased and ashi jumped up on bed and showed me her teeth
"I brushy" she said
"Good job baby" I said caressing her hair as she watched tv
"Manik turn it off" nandini said and I hummed
"Manik off now, she needs to sleep" I heard her again making me groan, I turned the tv off and ahi pouted at me
"Don't pout at me, she is the one who asked me to turn it off" I said pointing at Nandini
"Mumma" she wined
"No, absolutely not, you watch too much tv baby, you need to sleep without tv too" Nandini said
"But"
"Ill read you a story baby" Nandini said getting into bed beside ashi
"Princess story" she asked
"Yes missy princess story"
"Okay" she mumbled and put her head on nandini's chest while I grabbed my laptop to work a little
