Manik's pov
"Princess what was mumma talking about" I asked her
"Its a seclet" she said
"Ill give you sour dummies" I said knowing she loves them
"Pinky promise" she asked
"Pinky promise" I said linking my pinky with her
"We are gonna trouble you today" she said and my eyes widened
"How" I asked
"Movies, games and other things" she mummbled
"Hawww you told him" Nandini said
"You are planning against me" I said and she frowned
"No I am not" she said and ashi pouted
"Brownie" she asked
"Here you go silly" Nandini handed her a brownie and gave me a milkshake
"Mumma spongebob" ashi said and I love instantly Nandini put her milkshake down and turned the tv on
Ashi got down from my lap and sat beside me holding Nandini's dupata which I have noticed in this month, she likes holding onto Nandini or her dupata or her suit, just anything she wears, ashi is holding while watching tv
Nandini's eyes were glued on the stupid cartoon too like her life depended on it, I noticed ashi and her expressions matched nandini's making me smile
She is really beautiful, her pouty lips on the straw as she chewed on it making me smile, she has these doe shaped eyes just like ashi's, her nose is round while mine is pointy.
Ahh I feel horrible for ignoring such a beautiful girl, she has been taking care of me ever since she walked in here, she made sure I was eating breakfast and dinner. She never says she is tired, she always does things without asking for anything and it made me upset that I took her for granted
"Attack" I heard ashi making me look at them
"Oh hell no" I yelled getting seeing them both having brownie in their hands
"Manik"
"Papa"
"No no absolutely not, get away from me" I said holding a pillow
"Papa give up" ashi said
"Nope"
"Manik" Nandini said running to me in full speed and so was ashi
"You guys are annoying" I said trying to run but Nandini grabbed my arm
"Ashi goo" she yelled and ashi smashed brownie all over my t shirt and leg
"Ahh ashi I will"
"Baby he won't" Nandini said smacking the brownie on my face
"Fine you two wanna play, lets play" I said leaving the pillow and they both ran upstairs making me run behind them
"Maine bola tha apko" I heard Nandini
"No no" ashi said
"Papa will get us" nandini said making me smile as I walked inside
"Talking about me" I whispered opening the closet door
"Ahhh" they both screamed
"Got you" I said holding nandini who was holding ashi and they both pouted at me, the same way making me smile
"You wanna play right" I said and they both shook their heads
"No no lets play my babies" I said and rubbed my cheek on nandini's and ash's making them both pout
"Bad papa" ashi said
"Manik bas na"
"Nahi ab bas kyu, you started this"
"Okay sorry" nandini said pouting
"You too missy, say you are sorry" I said to ashi who stuck her tongue out
"Ashi"
"Papa"
"Ashi" I glared at her
"Papa" she glared back
"Baby say na" nanidni said
"Ahh only because mumma said, sorry" she said glaring at me
"I need a shower" nandini said
"Yes baby mumma needs a shower" I said looking at ashi and she grinned
"Umm yes mumma mer too" she said
"Manik ap merai room mai shower lai lo" nandini said and I nodded winking at ashi who nodded
Nnaindi took ashi in the bathroom and a few seconds later I peaked in to see ash sitting on the island and Nandini tying her hair, ashi saw me and I nodded, she turned the tap on and I walked in
"Now" I said and before nandini could process anything ashi threw water on her and I grabbed a bucket of water from the bath she was running for ashi and threw it on her
"Heckkk nooo, ahhhhh manikkk I will kill you" she screamed and for a second both ashi and I stopped and then started laughing irritating nandini more
"Manik" she cried not like a serious cry but a irritated cry
"Yes babe" I said kissing her cheeks
"Mee" ashi said so I picked her up and she kissed nandini's cheek too
"Sorry mumma" she said
"Its okay baby" she said kissing her cheeks
"Go shower now no more of this monkey business" she said looking at me
"Got it" I said handing ashi to her and kissing ashi's cheeks and then nandini's head I walked to the guest room.
I called some workers to come and renovate my room a little becasue I wanted nandini to stay in our room but I dont want Disha's memories in there not that there were many but ya.
I stood in the shower and as the water hit my body I realized I had not had this much fun since a very very long time, and nandini seemed to bring it out for me. I also haven't seen ashi enjoying this much for a long time.
A part of me wishes nandini came in my life before, I mean she has been a part of my life since the past 7 years but I never really noticed her, I wonder if she noticed me and what she thought of me other than a monster.
It made me laugh when she called me a monster, ahh sometimes I feel like nandini is ashi's biological mom becasue the two of them have the same expressions and the way both of them watch cartoons together is adorable
In this past month whenever I got angry or pissed I would watch nandini and ashi thought the camera which I am having removed becasue I trust nandini more than anything, nandini is the best mother ahi could have gotten, better than her biological mom.
