Nandini's pov

I woke up and found the two malhotra's cuddled up on either side of me, ashi had her face on my chest and her arm was around my neck. Whereas manik had his face in my neck, I could feel his warm breath in my neck

"Manik" I whispered and nothing

"Manik" I whispered again caressing his arm that was still on my stomach

"Manik wake up" I said seeing its 8 and he probably has a meeting

"Manik" he hmmed pulling me closer

"When is your meeting" I asked

"I dont know" he mummbled

"Manik"

"Hmm"

"Manik"

"Let me sleep" he mummbled in my neck

"Manik metting, you will be late"

"I am the boss let me sleep na babe please, im exhausted" he said making me smile

"Okay sleep" I said and he hmmed

After I felt him a sleep, I moved his arm from my stomach and put a pillow beside him. I then moved ashi to her crib and put a pillow beside her. I showered and saw the two still a sleep so I covered them both with blankets and walked to the kitchen

Last night's talk with Manik brought out everything for me, the insecurities I had of him leaving me or the contract coming in the middle of this was cleared. He promised that he won't ever use it against me.

He wants to give this a chance, he wants to give us a chance. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that the guy I used to have a crush on would be my husband one day especially in this situation

I love that Manik is taking a step towards me, it makes me hopeful for our future together as one. I love that he considers me as ashi's mom.

"Mumma" I heard ashi's sleepy voice making me turn the burner off

I walked outside the kitchen and found her stepping down the stairs with her dolphin in her hands, she walked to me and hugged my legs

"Good morning bacha" I mumbled kissing her cheek after I pick her up

"Good molning mumma" she said in my neck as I sit her on my hip

"How is my baby doing"

"Good, how is mumma" she said making me smile

"Mumma is good too, sleepy" I asked and she nodded

"Papa snores" she complained making me laugh

"He is tired baby" she nodded hearing this

I continued working on breakfast and ashi fell a sleep in my arms, she sleeps like a rock, Manik is right she falls a sleep so quick sometimes that it scares me but it's normal. I kissed her head and turned the burner off again.

It was 9:30 so i had to force Manik to wake up and this sleepy baby too, I walked to our room and honestly he did such a good job of incorporating everything ashi and I like. I placed ashi on the bed but this girl didnt leave the hem of my top, her grip actually tightened so I just sat with her in my arms

"Manik come on its 9:30, you have to get to the office" I said caressing her back

"Sonai do na"

"Manik"

"Mai manik ni hu" this made me chukle, he is such a sleepy head, and now I know why he would come down every day after 11

"Acha toh mai kon hu"
