Chapter 21

Manik's pov

"I can get out but then who would you calm down" she said caressing his arm

"I don't need you to calm me down, leave before I end up saying something to you" I said gripping my chair being pissed off

I was so fucking pissed off becasue we were leaving in a few hours and the shoot that was supposed to be done a few days ago wasn't even close o being done for I dont know what god damn reason

I asked them what was going on and they had some lame fucking excuse but I need it done today before I leave. I was already angry when Nandini came in but she is so stubborn

"Nandini just leave" I said jerking her arm

"Don't blame me" she said making me look at her

Before I could even register anything, she moved from the chair and sat in my lap, her arms linked behind my neck as she hugged at my hair behind my head, I swear it felt good, her hands have magic

"Nandini please" I said and she smirked

"Shh" she continued massaging the back of my neck and I feel myself relaxing

"Anger is not always good for you, I understand work is stressful but the way you let anger control you is not right manik" she said kissing my temple

"The shoot isn't done yet, it was supposed to be done a few days ago, we have to leave in a few hours and all I have gotten are excuses" I explained

"Okay and what's the big deal. Just a few days late right but it's okay, it's not worth getting so angry over. Yes I should have been done but sometimes it happens" she said

"Nandini I"

"Yes you tend to overwork yourself so take a chill pill, life isn't just about working, you have to enjoy manik"

"I know but babe it needs to get done"

"And it will, now will you take a deep breath and get that smile back on your handsome face and come help me pack. Oh not to forget your daughter, she was asking about you too" she said smiling

"Handsome" I questioned

"Yes handsome, mr malhotra now if you are okay I am going to get up and not squish you more" she said and I frowned

'You are just as light as ashi, and I like you sitting in my lap, do it often" I said and she blushed

"Aww you are adorable babe" I said kissing her cheek

"Lets go" I said getting up with her still on me making her scream a little

"I would not drop you silly" I said kissing her forehead

"I trust you manik" she said and those words meant more than I love you to me

"Shall we" I asked and she nodded bolting out of the room making me chuckle at her

I followed her back to our room and saw ashi watching finding nemo so I sat down and hugged her, she kissed my cheek

"I called you to help me" nandini mumbled and I nodded but my concentration was on the movie

"I am living with 2 kids" she said under her breath as she closed the suitcase

"Mumma hungry" ashi said as soon as the movie finished

"What does my baby want" she asked

"Umm chips" she said and Nandini nodded

"Wait do you have everything, we have o head out in 5" I said getting up and taking my shirt off
