You walked out into the hospital's garden, Bangchan trailing behind you. Finding a good spot to sit down, you gestured Bangchan to sit with a nod of your head. You had a blank look on your face as you stared at him waiting for him to say what he had to say.
Bangchan looked unusually serious, and particularly harsh when staring at you and the words that left his lips made you pause, "Where were you last night Y/n-shi?" You looked at him with a frown before biting off, "I think, I had clarified it last night that I will be staying at my friend's Bangchan-shi?"
Bangchan's eyes hardened, and his words were particularly sharp, "oh? With a friend?" You scoffed, before sarcastically asking, "Do I need to give a register of whomever I meet, and whatever I do because of a stupid engagement that wasn't even my choice?"
Bangchan stared at you for a good minute. His eyes observing, sharp and analytical. You sighed, look at your watch before nodding, "Look, I don't have enough time to waste around all day, so please I'll like to leave now." You stood up, straighting your lab coat about to leave when he finally spoke up, "Even if you don't feel close to me, don't feel free enough to me, don't believe in this engagement and marriage.....," His voice was quiet, and when you turned back, he was already staring at you. A thousand emotions swirled in his eyes, but even after being an idol he couldn't really hide it. You could read him like an open book.
A book which read a thousand emotions. Anger, Coldness, uneasiness.....,Grief. Guilt. Your brows furrowed. You were about to ask, when he cut you off, his voice sharp, "even if you don't believe in all those stupid things, you could've still called me when you were kicked out, in dark cold."
You froze.
Bangchan took a step forward, he didn't express his anger. He didn't need to, it was all over his face. His calm question, blanketed thick anger, caused by worry, "That late at night, walking around a dangerous alley, what on the earth were you thinking? All alone?"
His face was flashing dangerously, "is calling some so worse off, that you would rather die than have someone help, Y/n-shi?" Your face hardened at his words, you sneered. "Call? Call whom? Call you?" Bangchan looked stunned, as you took another step in, almost chest to chest, as your eyes looked up at him with ridicule. "Call someone because of whom I landed into the trouble in the first place?" He fell silent and regret flashed his face making you pause from saying worse off.
You rolled your eyes, sighing and shaking your head bitterly. You closed your eyes in frustration, cursing Hyunjin in your head for not keeping his mouth shut. His soft voice pulled you out of your thoughts, making your head snap with just two words.
"you can." Your eyes snapped up to his, he was looking at you. Only now you suddenly noticed the close proximity, and how heavenly the sunlight falling on him make him look. The brown in his eyes shone like Ambers, and prism that was projected by the glass lamp over his face made him look outworldly. "You can Y/n-shi...," His words were louder this time, snapping you out of your trance. You blinked your eyes, looking other way as your heartbeat raised at his sincere words. You took in a deep breath, biting your lips.
God, what was wrong with you?
Being flustered by lights and a few sincere words? You thought you were over this phase already. You stuttered, trying to shrug it off, "W-whatever....," Bangchan shook his head, "It's not a matter, you can just shrug off Y/n-shi ." His face was twisted in a serious but soft look that you failed to recognise, as he grabbed your hand, making your eyes widened. You felt a thousand thoughts explode, at his gentle expression as his eyes slid towards your cheeks and remorse filled them. He shook his head, "This isn't okay, You should have called me. Blamed me, asked–no, demanded that I help."
His words somehow breaking something up in you, that made you feel all kinds of crazy things you failed to feel ever before. "You should have done anything, anything but what you did....," You reluctantly looked away muttering, "Stop acting as if you care."
You found it hard to breathe. You forced yourself to think straight, be yourself rather than this 16 year old teen you were acting up like. You turned around, apparantly being around him up close would be on top of you never-do-it list. He grabbed your arm gently, before standing infront of you, a serious frown on his face, "But I do?"
You scoffed automatically, as if! You raised an eyebrow, "Why? Why do you care so much?" His eyes pulled up in surprise, but answered anyways. "Because I am supposed to do that, I will be marrying you, so ofcourse I would care about you." You clenched you jaw, fisting up your palms tightly, and for the first time you understood why girls all around used to fall for idols. Gosh this man must be a wizard.
"Okay, I get it. Bye now." You nodded, turning around and started walking away. Bangchan just stood there, with a confused look. Why do you always seem to be in such a hurry? It was as if a bunch of wolves were always behind you, one second you would be there, the next you won't even be seen.
You puzzled him to no extent. You looked so hard to approach, and just wouldn't budge but then suddenly leave listening to whatever he said. Did you agree or didn't, would forever be a question to him. He would be quiet, you would be polite, but when he said anything you would literally go all mean on him. This twisted a thousand knots in his head. He was always so polite with you, so why did you act as if he was the last man you'd want to see?
Being an idol, Bangchan was so used to people greeting him with smile, that this 'I don't want to see you even when I am dying' attitude that you had made you puzzling to him. It intrigued him, as to how even after knowing his identity, you couldn't care less and treated him as if he was a burden on your shoulder. It was an arranged marriage, alright, he got it, but it wasn't necessary to show it that much. He wouldn't lie, even though he didn't expect the world level respect, he atleast thought that you would be atleast polite with him. Now that he thought about it, he was doubting whether if he actually had any fans Because you acted as if he was just some kid.
He walked back towards his members with thoughts filling up his mind, but suddenly something struck him like lightning making him freeze. You. You..... were a doctor. Felix's doctor. His bandmates had seen you. Bangchan cursed in his head, dreading as he hurried, fastening his steps as he searched for his bandmates before they found you.
And when he reached the hallway, he sucked in a breath in terror, when his eyes landed on a huge crowd surrounding a white coat. Leeknow looked up at Bangchan, and waved giving him an innocent grin.
Oh hell no, not his bandmates now.......
