You walked down the stairs, and everyone was quietly sat at the dining table, eating but the atmosphere was awkward to the core. You sighed, and were about to walk away towards the door when you heard a voice, "Noona!"

You turned around, and saw Jaeyun standing there. He had his jaw clenched, at his brows were furrowed, he asked startling you, "Are you going out?" You were startled. What the fuck was happening, the boy that never said a word to you is now actually talking with you?

Your expression didn't change much, but your concern made you ask out in a nonchalant voice, "Ne, Hyun you want something?"

During years, you never talked with your little brother directly, but he had been the one you had played with the most when you were younger. Anger was at its place, but Jaehyun had been a kid since when he had seen the attitude you possessed now. Ever since he was the sensible age to understand, he had only seen you disrespecting your parents, or harming them verbally. You had always been insolent, even when your mother was begging you for forgiveness. He couldn't forget the attitude he had seen, just like you couldn't forget the things you had experienced. You both had stopped talking from an earlier age.

He always avoided you, and you let him be, but still atleast for you he wasn't the one at fault. You had always seen a little boy, who would hug his crying mother whenever she faced the bad guy. He still held a soft spot.

He looked away, his jaw was still clenched as he walked away. You surprised at his attitude, just stood there for a few seconds, before Bangchan came down smiling at you. He grabbed your hand, speaking up, "Let's go." He didn't look towards your father for any kind of permission, he had gotten the permission from whom he deemed was important. You, and that was more than enough for him.

He pulled you with himself, and was about to head out when you felt a warm coat being draped over you from behind. When you turned around, you were shocked to see your sulking brother looking away, he grumbled as if he almost didn't want to show the care, "Don't return as a drunk fool, this time will you?" You were astonished for a second, before you felt your lips twitch at the atrocious comment.

"Watch your language around elders, will you?" You mocked him, and he rolled his eyes glaring at you. "Whatever." Muttering, he walked away, back to the dinner table.

Flash!

You turned around startled, seeing Bangchan holding up his phone. You rolled your eyes, "That is stalking, Bangchan-shi." He grinned shaking his head. "Nopes, it isn't Y/n-shi." He chuckled,"I am just capturing improvements."

You frowned, "Improvements? Of what?" He smiled softly, "Improvements in your life." He gestured with his eyes towards where your brother was standing, Whilst biting his lips and holding down a smile, "Your relation with your brother. Congratulation love, it improved slightly there." Your cheeks heated up at his comment.

How did he know everything?

You grumbled, starting to walk, "Whatever, Let's just go." You properly put on the coat, with a fluttering feeling in your heart. You heard Bangchan laugh behind you, "Getting Impatient are we?"

You ignored his words, getting in the car since he ran to open up the door before you could. You rolled your eyes at his gentleman attitude, speaking up as soon as he sat down in the car. "You don't always have to do that you know?" Bangchan smiled at you confusedly, "Do what?" You scoffed, "That gentleman thing, opening the door, pulling the chair, holding my hand and what not. I don't like it." He chuckled quietly, commenting, "You are quite a different species, Y/n"
