"Don't ever scare me, Like you did Last night Y/n. I will die if something happens to you."

You couldn't take it anymore. You had to say it. The torment too much to handle all alone. Your heart clenched, pain burdening your shoulder, and a tear slipped down your eyes hearing his words. You were starting to fall.

A fall that scared you, twisted your heart in so many ways, killed you with guilt but built up the feelings that made you feel alive. You were dying but you were alive. His littlest touch drove you to the edge of sanity, and the soft gentle caresses that they held, made you melt.

You would freeze, as if in a freezer around him a moment, and the next you would be melting by his words like ice under summer sun. He made your heart run miles, but also made your heart halt in your chest.

He scared you, but damn if you didn't feel his love. You weren't sure if it was. You had never been loved, but what you did imagine, he was so much more than that. His care almost outworldly. Can a human even be so kind?

The only heart Y/n ever knew was that made of tissues, cells, and flesh. What heart did he have that he was resilient to all the impurities that could taint the impulse that the neurones of a stupid brain couldn't taint his intentions?

Feelings, all of it was just a chemical process for as long as you could remember. Neurones send signal through brain, something absolutely full of impulse. They could easily be changed, what kind of neurons did he have that he was happy even getting insulted and hurt by you?

Was he psychologically ill? What kind of dopamine did his brain release being around a stupid doctor who didn't even say a word half the day, and when her lips finally moved they were to curse, and sneer? Was it a serious case?

Whatever it was, one thing you were sure of was that, matter not his mental condition, but you would definitely go crazy before you die if you were with him.

A tear slid down your cheek. I can't lie anymore. This hurts so bad...

You built up your courage, swallowing thickly. "Bangchan...," He should know what he is getting into, It won't be fair to him if I continue lying.

Bangchan's eyes opened up, and he gave her a soft smile humming. His eyes dared not hide the chaste feelings he admitted through the kiss. Wasn't kissing already a big enough confession?

His hands that caressed your cheeks, wiped away the tears that he just noticed, his eyebrows furrowed. You squinted your eyes, holding his hands in yours, frightened to say the words with your eyes open. Would you still love me if I am dying?

"What happened, Y/n? Wh-why are you crying?!" Bangchan was worried, as he questioned. You exhaled a deep breath, shakily, "Bangchan...,I-I am-"

Your voice was cut off, by the door opening again. Bangchan's head snapped towards the door, his eyes stoning up seeing your father enter. He quickly stood up, shielding you from his view, his hands clenching in a protective manner making your father sneer.

"Get out Bangchan, I want to talk with my daughter." Bangchan was about to protest when you grabbed his arm getting his attention. You had a calm, serene look all of a sudden. No more trouble for him, you thought determined. You gave him a smile, shaking your head. "He is my father, Bangchan."

Bangchan stiffened at your words, your father staring at you with an astonished expression. Your smile was sweet, but it was crystal clear that there was a warning in your eyes that dared them both to disrespect eachother. Your loving gaze, warning your father to not overstep his boundaries. You were his fiancé alright?

But he already fought with your father. Fuck, will you break off the engagement now? He prayed to the god you won't. You smiled towards your father for first time in ages, and something in him cracked.

Your smile wasn't that what he was used to. Maybe that it had been years since he last saw you smile at him, or maybe it was just that your smile held such complex maturity, it put him in the turmoil. His memories going back to the little girl, whom he had tried teaching how to ride bicycle when she was 7.

Appa! Daddyyy~ I am racing, look!" A little girl giggled, as the man who was running whilst pushing the bicycle huffed and puffed. He smiled at the little girl, cooing"Yay, baby! Yes you are!"

Little Y/n smiled, trying to paddle faster, she yelled, "Yeah! I will cycle faster now! Faster! Faster!!" Her father behind her, widening his eyes as the cycle started to move faster. Damn, you couldn't even hold the handle properly!

He ran behind you, as you tried pedaling faster. You yelled, "Harry potterrrr~~ Yay! I will ride to Hogwarts." The panting man Chuckled, hearing the baby dreams, trying to run faster to catch up with his daughter so that he could balance her. He couldn't let his daughter fall. Ever.

"Oh, oh! Appa--ahh!" He gasped, as he suddenly lost his grip on your cycle making you fall.  The first time you had gotten hurt.

Your father's eyes reflected nostalgia as he remembered. He had cried throughout the night, when his daughter had gotten hurt because of him. His precious little daughter. He remembered your smiles. A girl who never stopped smiling, when she stopped, why did she not smile ever again?

His eyes sliding back to the woman who sat on the bed, with an IV attached to her, smiling back at him. An arrow shot through his heart, as he remembered Bangchan's words. Did he really snatch away your smile for his own?

It was true you never smiled at him, what changed?

The smile didn't feel the same either. What used to be a carefree, lively, full of happiness smile, changed into a quiet, empty smile. Where did the happiness go?

He wondered.

Hypocritic isn't it?
