In the quiet, cold and dark room, there you laid with your eyes closed in a white hospital gown. The light beeping of your heart monitor a dull lullaby in the background.

The moon light lit your room late at night and as always there he was. He smiled at you with sadness in his eyes before his eyes went back to the diary in his hand, he continued reading.

"And so I am so scared of the dark,
In the corner as it lurks,
It searches for my soul,
My mind is blank, ghoul."

He sighed shaking his head, "Why were you so dark, Love?" His hand kept down your diary, reaching for yours. Your cold hands that warmed under his touch.

You laid there silent, just listening.

Listening, listening and listening to his cries and love oaths as you pushed and pushed but couldn't come through. For past 8 months he had been there every night, staying up with you, sleeping beside you as you heard him but couldn't reply.

He had been there and you felt your eyes go moist as you remembered his words, "she would be scared alone in the dark, I need to be there with her."

You felt his hand tightened around yours, a dull sensation that you barely felt, but one you had grown accustomed to. His voice echoed in the darkness of your head as he whispered, his voice exhausted. "Wake up, love."

I am awake Chris.

A tear slid down Bangchan's eyes as he stared at you,  a silent sob leaving his lips as he whispered, "I am waiting for you."

He stared at your face with a weak smile when a small tear slid from your closed eyelids. His hand wiped the stray tear, shaking his head. "Don't cry, Y/nnie, just because I am still waiting doesn't mean it's your fault."

He smiled brightly, "Take your time, we have got a forever waiting for her."

A few weeks earlier when he had been crying, he had felt a tear drop on his hand. When he had looked up, it had been surprising to see your closed eyes shed tears. The doctor said it was a sign of your frustrations as your body faught against the paralysis. It had been a good sign they said.

He smiled weakly, "You know, love." His hand caressed your face lightly, a touch that was like a feather. "The doctors say that you can't hear me, love."

He sniffled, wiping his tears before his lips let out a breathy chuckle, "But they don't know you." He smiled warmly, his smile was wobbly against his lip.

It kept slipping away, but he held it tight and kept the slight shiver at bay, he whispered, "They don't know how you always are there. For me. For everyone that you love, you always are there."

He silently cried, trying to keep his voice to himself.

You were listening, he had to be strong. He reminded himself.

He spoke hoarsely, "I know you are listening, love."

"You always are. Please don't make wait so long. It hurts."

Bo young stared at the blond boy that waited in the hallway with a stoned face. She knew he had realised her stare but didn't dare to acknowledge it.

Her heart breaking, she picked up her dropped smile as she walked upto him. She smiled quietly at him, "Hey, Lixxie!"

She spoke cheerfully, "How are you doing?"

Felix turned to look at her, and his face was cold. No warmth, neither a single sunshine hit her. "What do you want, Ms. Kang?"
