Nicole's POV
Nicole couldn't believe how amazing Kristen was, well, she could, but seeing her in person and how she pours herself into every song had Nicole wanting to kiss Kristen until she melted into her arms, right here in this club for everyone to see.
Kristen's entire face changed on stage, her energy transformed from the soft laid back girl she had dinner with to a woman who commanded the room, forcing you to focus on her and only her.
When they made eye contact the Kristen that Nicole knew popped out for just a second the way her smile changed into something private and warm just for Nicole made her feel a little flushed. Nicole kept her cool though, raised her glass to Kristen and when Kristen looked away and started the next song Nicole felt her shoulders relax.
The more and more she saw of this girl the more she wanted her back in her bed.
When the show was over she was going to remind Kristen that Nicole wanted to see her list very soon so she could set up their next play. Nicole wanted to do something special for Kristen, the first night together had been more of a random hook up than an actual scene for play. She was going to make that up to her as soon as their schedules allowed.
Nicole was enjoying watching Kristen sing so much, she liked the way Kristen gave the audience bedroom eyes as she sang 'At Last' by Etta James, a hard song to sing without soul. But Kristen gave it more of a musical theater twist like she was used to being on Broadway and not a small jazz stage. It was endearing to watch her perform, Nicole couldn't stop smiling.
Eventually as the set continued on the instrumentals started to leave the stage if their musical instrument wasn't needed until eventually it was just Kristen on stage, the crowd cheered as she stood up again.
"So I have one more song for you tonight before we all head out, I can't believe how late it is already, I've had such a blast with you guys today." Kristen says before taking another sip of water. "I'm gonna sing this one nice and easy, I want you to snap your fingers along with me and then we can get outta here, alright?"
The crowd responded with more cheers and delight, Kristen grinned and waited for them to calm down before she started snapping her fingers.

A classic, Nicole thought and began snapping along as she watched Nicole leave her little stage and begin walking between tables, stopping at some tables and serenading the guests sitting there who all smiled and waved at her. Kristen even handed the mic to an older white woman who sang the next part of the song.

Moon lights up the night

And you know I'm gonna treat you right
You give me fever,
The woman's voice was shaky but lovely and the way Kristen grinned at her made it all worth it. She kissed the woman on the forehead before going to the next table.
