14. Baby, Baby, Baby

Nicole's POV

Nicole spent the last couple days spending an intense amount of time at her library. She put up new 'Now Hiring!' signs up on the windows and doors. Met with her team members individuals about how they felt about their work environment, if any changes needed to be made, or if there was anything immediate Nicole could do to help her team members work experience. One of her team members asked for a later start time, another asked for longer lunch periods, another asked if they could do music sessions for non-verbal autistic kids. Nicole liked to give her staff the comfortability and freedom to speak to her about what would make the library better for all. She promised to work with her staff to give them everything she wanted, as long as the budget allowed it.

Nicole knew she would be changing her schedule at the library as well. With her possible sub working afternoon/night shifts Nicole figured she would do the same to her schedule. Even though Nicole enjoyed early quiet mornings at the library, she figured being around the same sleep schedule as her sub would make their sleepovers together more enjoyable.

And God, was Nicole excited about Kristen. She almost didn't even want to call Kristen her sub just yet, she didn't want to jinx it. There was something about Kristen that pulled Nicole to her. It wasn't the usual marks in a woman that let Nicole know she was a sub, but instead that excited gleam in her eye at the idea of trying something new and out of her comfort zone.

There was a certain spark in Kristen's eye when Nicole said "if I find you doing it again, you'll be punished" This undeniable gleam that said Kristen was more than interested in finding out what that punishment will be. Nicole couldn't help it, she was excited about this dynamic coming into her life. When Nicole finished her day at the library she went home and washed all of her toys, some she washed by hand, others she boiled in a pot. There was something about cleaning and preparing her space that made her feel in control and brought her joy.

Nicole spent lots of time trying to decide what the couple should do for their first scene, something that had surprised Nicole was how she and Kristen seemed to be on the same page about a lot of likes and dislikes. The only things that seemed a little different from one another was physical pain and degradation. As much fun as Nicole had the first night they slept together, smacking Kristen's ass and calling her greedy little slut probably would be as far into it as Nicole could go for awhile. She knew that Kristen was new to this and degradation with new partners can sometimes be triggering in ways the person being degraded may not expect. Nicole would have a longer conversation about pain and degradation when Kristen came over for their sleepover.

Nicole also spent a lot of time looking up Crohn's disease, she didn't ever want their play to cause a flare up with her illness. Nicole spent some time looking up foods that would cause flare ups as well as safe foods. Kristen said most seafoods were safe and her favorites so Nicole bought four 12 ounce lobster tails and stuck them in her freezer she would have something Kristen loved to eat on the ready for her. She also made sure she had a variety of other safe foods and her cook on call to run to the grocery store and pick up other items if Kristen needed or wanted them.

As Nicole continued to prepare her house for her sleepover with Kristen her phone beeped with a text message from Kristen.

Kristen: Would it be too much to say I miss you?

Nicole beamed down at her phone, it was nice to know that Kristen was consumed with thoughts of her just as Nicole couldn't stop thinking about Kristen.

Nicole: No sweetheart, I miss you too. I'm getting everything prepared for our time together.

Kristen: I want to know what rules you're going to give me.
