Mizuki didn't regret letting An and Kohane meet, no, not at all.
Because it was pretty funny to hear An gush about their troupe leader all sadly and desperately like... well, they didn't really have a good simile for that one.
It was still pretty funny though.
They didn't think An even knew she was acting all simp-like over Kohane, actually. But it would happen soon enough, they supposed.
Soon.
"Mizuki, did you know that Kohane has a pet snake?"
"Yeah," they said, "she told us a while back. Why?"
"She was telling me last night! I think it's so cool, and then she offered to let me come over to see it and I think-"
"She offered to let you come over?" Mizuko mused. "It was hard enough trying to convince her to let US come to her house."
An playfully punched them in the shoulder. "Guess she just likes hanging out with me more than you!"
Mizuki hid their chuckle. "Perhaps."
"Mizuki, look!" An held out a book. "I got this for Kohane, do you think she'll like it?"
"Ooh, let me see!" Mizuki grabbed it to take a closer look. "Hmmm..."
"Well?"
They gave it back. "I've never read this, so I wouldn't know."
"Hey, why you take it then?!"
They shrugged. "I like messing with you. I'm sure it'll be good."
An gave them a beaming smile. "Right. Thanks, Mizuki!"
"Mizuki, Mizuki! Kohane and I went to a nice café together, you know! You should totally go check it out, the food there is so nice!"
Mizuki was starting to think An was becoming like an excited kid. "You two went to a Cafe together? Almost sounds like a date in a shoujo manga."
An just scoffed at that. "Very funny, Mizuki. Anyway, we actually got some good pictures together, wanna see? So here's one..."
Mizuki smiled. At least An was happy.
