"So, Saki, what's your reason for joining me and Rui's troupe?"

She stopped sweeping the stage to open her mouth to answer, and then closed it again. "There's a story to this."

"I don't mind hearing it," Mizuki replied.

"Well.." she paused, "I used to do music with my friends. I was the pianist. But I haven't seen them in a while, so..."

"Oh? If you don't mind me asking, how'd you guys stop?"

Saki frowned. "I was a very sickly child. I was in the hospital for almost all of middle school."

"I'm sorry to hear that."

"Don't worry about it! I'm here now, and I want to so all the things I missed out on! It's just..." she sighed. "When I came back, my friends weren't really hanging out with each other anymore. Something must've happened while I was gone."

"That must suck."

"It does. But now, I have you guys, and I'll get to do cool performances with you two!"

Mizuki laughed, stopping their cleaning. "Glad to know you enjoy our company. You're very positive, you know."

"Well, I've got to keep hoping in such an unpredictable world, do I not?"

"...you're very right."

"Mizuki, imagine how cool it would be to have more members!

"Ooh, more people would be convenient for more parts..! But who would want to join us?"

"Hmm..."

"Ah well, at least we have Rui to make robots if all else goes wrong."

"True, true!"

Mizuki sighed, changing out of their costume.

The group's troupe had gone far, it had. But where would the future take them all?

Don't worry about it!  They imagined Saki saying. We've got all the time in the world to figure it out! In the best case, all four of us will stay friends, won't we?

Saki, I hope we do stay friends, all four of us.
