It was a song that brought Kohane to their troupe.
Not even a entirely special one–just something Mizuki and chosen off their playlist for fun. They had put it on the speaker at the end of the group's rehearsals as they took a break.
And that was how Kohane heard their song and got the offer to join their troupe.
Mizuki hummed the melody of it now, as they got walked out of the changing rooms after their dress rehearsal.
Kohane recognized it as she walked by, and immediately stopped to listen. "... oh, Mizuki! I remember that song..!"
Mizuki grinned. "You would, wouldn't you?"
"It was the song that brought me to you guys."
"And that's why it's special!" They announced, patting Kohanes shoulder. "In the same way songs shared with friend are special, or songs shared with couples are special!"
"Or how corny end-of-camp songs are special?"
"That, too!"
Mizuki was always impressed when Saki came to rehearsals with a new song composed for them all.
"Ah, it's such a pretty tune, Saki!"
She gave Mizuki a bashful smile. "You think? Thank you, I'm kinda new to this sort of thing..."
"No problem! You music is always beautiful!"
"Awww, Mizuki!"
It was music that held the troupe together, if not their friendship and shared love of acting.
Music that uplifted all four of them in small ways.
