Our troupe has come so far, she thinks.
She may have been stating the obvious, but hey, it's not like she was wrong. Kohane was proud of their work and all their improvements.
Not just in the context of their shows, though–in the context of their friendship, too.
Yes, Kohane admits it: they're her friends. They're all good friends now despite the chaos and yes she values them.
"Huuhhhh.....!" Saki mused. "We have been a troupe for a while now."
"Told you."
"We should do something fun! Like an anniversary celebration, or something!"
"A celebration, huh..." Kohane said.
"Guys, let's have a party backstage again."
"Hweh?" Mizuki tilted their head. "What for?"
"We've been a troupe for a while now. Let's celebrate it like an anniversary."
"Oh! You used my idea!"
"Hmm" Rui hummed, "that's not a bad idea, you two. We'd need some good planning though–someone to sort out the food, the decor..."
"We did it before, so we can do it again, can't we?" Mizuki exclaimed with a grin.
"Yeah," Kohane smiled along with them. "Yeah, we can."
And so a celebration party was held (with cupcakes that used the same recipe as the one used forever ago, funnily enough.)
A party reminiscent of Rui's birthday, only this time there were no surprises and they just laughed and laughed about everything that's happened between them all, inside jokes and embarrassing experiences alike.
"Gah, you guys...!" Mizuki said, raising a glass of kool-aid, "Here's to our troupe, you hear! For forever and always!"
"You are not being corny again-"
"YES I AM! I'M SPEAKING IT INTO EXISTENCE!"
Saki laughed. "Our happy ending being magically put into existence!"
"A happy ending?" Rui said, "that's a good way of putting it, actually..!"
"Well then." Kohane raised her own glass. "Here's to a happy ending for us all!"
"Here here!"
